So all of my reviews here are more jokey/memey but I wanna try a serious one. I won't make this long, so here it goes.
Nier Replicant is a masterpiece in my eyes, one of the greatest stories ever told in gaming with a fantastic main cast to support it. Nier, Kaine, and Emil are all amazing characters. The combat was a ton of fun, loved the variety in Grimoire Weiss' magic. My only complaint would be side quests. Some have great stories attached to them but others can be tedious to complete. To end this off: Yoko Taro....I kneel

This had the potential to be one of the best Yakuza games ever but they fumbled so hard with the gameplay. Yakuza 3 badly needed a Kiwami remake to actually fix the issues it is. Kiryu feels sluggish and his moves don't have the same oomf as previous games and even the games after. Enemies also block way too much making even simple fights drag out forever. I wanted to love Yakuza 3 but I just. If you want to play this game, please for the love of god don't do it on hard mode.
Just finished Symphonia 2. I can barely see the screen as my vision is mostly obscured by the fresh tears of finishing what is now, without a doubt, my favorite completed work of fiction across all mediums. I am shaking and slamming my head on the nearest table trying to comprehend how a story this masterful can exist.
