I LOVED this. Visually stunning. Bleak and European; greater than the sum of its parts. Cinematic, but not in the way Uncharted is, more like in the David Cronenberg way. But uniquely also a video game. Interactivity allows the thin narrative to be expanded in your head. Also, seems to be greatly inspired by old point and clicks, like Giger's own Dark Seed or I Have No Mouth.

Obviously wears its inspirations on its sleeve, but surprisingly goes to new places with the material, and keeps your imagination running throughout. However, I do have to dock a point for the actual frequency of combat in the mid game. It's mostly tedious and sometimes frustrating.

I appreciate that this is a genuine freak game for freaks, we need more of that. I will recommend this to you online or if you do not know me, and I would likely never tell someone who could see me in person to play this.

Dragon engine aside, this is the only way I've played Yakuza 2. A great crime drama, if a bit cheesy. The additional Majima stuff is nice after playing 0.

We need more games that are uncompromisingly Polish.

Exactly what it wants to be and nothing more than that. Look at the visuals - if you vibe with them, you'll like this game. If they do nothing for you, this won't work for you.

1 star for Connor and Mr Krabs, game sucks 95% of the time. Also idiotic, like tragically stupid.

I bought it for 3 dollars and played it for weeks

This is a perfectly replayable horror game. Playable Event Horizon - don't expect a particularly compelling plot.

This is a silly game with a melodramatic story; not high art or anything, but great fun, with excellent characters and the best iteration of the turn based puzzle battle system. Play on PC with EXP share to limit some time wasting. I've been playing with dual audio, and it's been a great way to revisit the game.

Not as bad as people make it sound; 4 stars for Carlos

Extremely high highs but middling lows keep it down. The cannery put me through a lot, emotionally.

Obtuse and aesthetically challenging, but easy to play and make your way through. Certified classic

The first four cases, or most of Great Ace Attorney 1, drags at times. However, from case 5 forward, this becomes one of the best adventure games around. Amazing payoff for the setup.

I was so into it until the last bit. Uninspired and tactless end to the central mystery, and I hate hate hate the ending. The problems with the dialog and slang are overstated, but the ending sucks.
