A bit of a slow start to the patches, but I'm curious to see where it goes from here. Sets up some neat plot hooks but doesn't do too much with the story and feels like its trying to find its footing after how insane the ending of Heavensward proper was

Pretty solid patch, had a great dungeon, I think its a great ending to the Heavensward patches but parts of it did fall a little short for me. The big emotional scene kinda didn't hit me too hard because I wasn't attached to the character involved, but the character depth it ended up giving to another after the fact was really solid in my opinion.
Anyway, onwards to Stormblood. Can't wait to see where this goes

Stepped away from this game for a long while and coming back to it was kinda rough, was not the biggest fan of a lot of the later game levels due to the rocket jump mechanic feeling kinda bad compared to all the other movement options. Normally wouldn't be an issue if only one mechanic was bad but its kinda relied on a lot in the last parts of the game so I'm not super crazy about it. Also idk if its just me but the writing kinda just, became more grating as the game went on. Not a bad experience though and one i may come back to at some point.

Being serious though this expansion was good. Not as amazing as Heavensward but its better than ARR and that's alright. There's a few plot things that sucked but its more than made up for via really good dungeons and trials
Also Zenos is a fun as hell villain and he wants to fuck the WoL so bad it makes him look stupid

Pretty okay start to the patch quests, nothing mind blowing but pretty decent overall I'd say. it was cute seeing them give Nanamo a bit of characterization after she's been gone from the plot for so long, looking forward to the rest of the patches

Good post main expac little questline, nice little story about the world starting to rebuild now that things are getting back to normal. Can't wait to see where this goes

This game never fails to impress me; right when I think stuff is slowing down for a bit and maybe the story will with it they pull me right back in

Damn the lead up into Endwalker is insane. Took me awhile to get here since i grinded out a relic weapon because i thought it would be cool to go through EW with it (would not recommend, look at the time i finished the last patch that's been how long it took me to get that done) but overall the story is really moving in a direction I like and I'm excited to see where this ends
