W game, make a sequel or a switch port nerds. the kid icarus series has so much potential

i dont understand why people hype this shit up or any other danganronpa game for that matter. as somebody who has art experience of 10+ years (including college experience) the art is absolutely atrocious and there have been literal parts where art is literally UNFINISHED (i.e tenkos hand in that one cg in the very beginning of the game)
this game also has a habit of sexualising minors. dont give a shit if theyre “fictional” or “theyre revealed to be adults at the end” you as the player are thought to have the idea that they are all kids in high school regardless so that makes it all the more fucked up. also its probably just me but i despise fanservice. especially with how off putting this game makes it (not to mention an actual child being r worded in udg). if i wanted to look at fucking porn id go watch it somewhere else. literally in every game theres fanservice like oh my LORD i dont care.
oh not to mention how some characters are written ATROCIOUSLY and there are only few parts which actually gives them any sort of redemption. theres maybe like 5 characters max that have any sort of interesting character development. after 3 games theres barely anything new added to this story from what i can tell and it just sucks bro, i could go on and on about how terrible this is

this game is good as fuck me and my sister enjoyed it but i wish it was longer

shit on this game all you want for being too different from the typical paper mario rpg but i thought this game was fun and intriguing and a big part of my childhood

i like it so far… dont get me wrong. but i think theres way too many fucking ways to die so early on in the game. like seriously, with every corner theres some trivial way to die whether it be guessing a box incorrectly or something stupid. its a good idea on paper but it leads to me constantly having to open my save again and again. at a certain point its just not fun to do that.
not only that the world is just kind of hard to grasp for me, like its probably just a me thing but you dont really get to know the “dystopia” all that well through the characters. its plastered in boring-to-read texts that serve as nothing significant to me. maybe im giving this game too hard of a push for somebody whos still playing it, but generally speaking its a bit troublesome after only an hour of playing…

arguably the best star fox game ever to be released

mario 64 walked so 3d platformers could run

cbfd certainly has a very interesting take on adult topics and foul mouthed potty humour. if youre expecting anything seriously adult from this: dont. the game is meant to be taken with humourous undertones, and especially lightheartedly, even with the „dark” topics it may cover theres always some sort of joke to be found in it somewhere. its something meant to be taken with a grain of salt, but thats what i personally find to be charming about it. the game doesnt take itself seriously, so you should lower any strong expectations if you have any
gameplay wise, i find it to be very quirky and captivating for more. the missions tend to be very unique from pitchfork-ing some sentient haybales to shitting on villagers who want to hunt you for sport. its all very silly, and something not commonly seen in other games

there would be way too much to say about this game in one sitting, but its a real masterpiece, ESPECIALLY for its time period. it couldnt beat any modern zelda game for me, every part just feels so well thought out and you can tell this game has a lot of love put into it

i like how weird and wacky glover is in all honesty. its something people usually dislike about the game, but i personally find thats what gives the game its charm. my biggest gripe with this game would probably be that the controls arent really all that fun to use, and given the fact that the entire basis of the game is navigating through obstacles and the like it isnt really a good mix.
the level design is decent to say the very least, it takes advantage of both the pros and cons of the gimmick… but besides that, i find it to be a really unique concept on its own, i just feel like it should have been executed a bit better. dont get me wrong though, i still love this game nonetheless

i MIGHT be slightly biased because this game is very sentimental to me but nonetheless, i personally feel its one of the more unique racing games out there. i find it to be more entertaining and worth more my time than mario kart for sure, probably because its partially story driven, with charming npcs, (even if they dont have much screen time), several game modes, and 3 different vehicles to use around the tracks which already gives it a big boost above some other racing games. it might not be as impressive or as packed as some other games in its era, but its casual, fun, and friendly for everyone
