This game is interesting and I have quite a bit to say about it as it has quite a few areas especially with having 4 characters to play as.

First off, story and unfortunatly I think im gonna have to say, this is the worst Yakuza story thus far, dont get me wrong, its still good but compared to the others, even the first game, its the worst one. And I think the problem comes down to writing and somehow making it so all 4 of the characters storys comes together fluidly and I dont think they accomplished that. Each of the characters though were really compelling and I loved each of them in there own way but the problem is, there starting point is just too different from each other apart from Kiryu's because he just kind of comes in to clean up the mess but ironically I think his is the worst in that because thats the chapter thats meant to unite everyone together. And I think its kind of a shame since it had good potential but it kind of just whiffed how everything comes together as well as its villain. The problem with its villain is, you dont know who the fuck it is half the time lmao. It keeps changing through betrayal and new information coming together to the point it just feels like there's no real villain and at the end it definitely shows it as they even bring in a fourth one just right out of left field which...doesnt make any sense at all why this guys there lmao. But apart from that, its still a good story, in terms of the individual story of each character, there actually really good and cool and each one did its character justice. They also perfectly captured each character and made each of them feel unique, like with Saejima's, your spending half of it underground because he's fleeing from the cops and Tanimura introduces the secret asian gateway section of the town you couldnt get into with the other characters before, so in terms of individual storys, they were really good...its just bringing everything together was its downfall.

Now lets talk about everything else, combat, is a huge improvement from 3's and it might even be up there in terms of top 3, every character felt so different to play as and I honestly cant decide who was my favourite to play (though im leaning toward Akiyama, the GOAT of a man lol).

The side content this time around was a bit plain and meh in my opinion, apart from Kiryu's in which you reunite with a lot of characters from the 1st game which was a really nice touch. I also liked a few select substorys from each character, especially Saejima's final one, that ones so cool hehe. I also liked all the trainers two, they were really fun. Quick shoutout to the chase minigame, they made them somehow even better in this game compared to 3's. I thought 3's was fun in most places but now it might even be my favourite mini game to play (Apart from with Saejima where your fleeing the cops and there's always that one prick outside near Serana's, that one pissed me off because there's no way to avoid him when you want to take the nearest taxi.)

Final subject, Amon boss, real disappointment. I spent freaking so long preparing for that getting so many weapons for all the characters and spreading the stamina's equally between them...and the fight's turn out to be the easiest in the series. Even 3's was harder then that shit and that one was just super long and annoying in spots but it kept me on my toes at all times. The toughest one was Jiro but it was more bullshit then hard because he kept on regenerating his health whenever you did damage but if you just lay into him with loads of weapon heat actions, he's pretty much done for.

Even though ive layed into the game in a few places, I say overall though, this is a pretty great game. Its combat is pretty fun and every protag is unique and awesome in there own way. Its story may not be up to par with the others in terms of how everything pans out at its end, its still good and the individual character chapters of there own story I think saves it hard because of how good they are.

So, compared to every other Yakuza game ive played so far, I was aware going into this that this was never gonna really hold up to the likes of 0 and Kiwami 1 and 2. But that being said, its not bad I had my fair share of fun with it. Like every Yakuza game, the story is always quite good and engaging. And some of the sub storys were quite good two, I loved the substory where its basically a murder mystery and a few of the others were really wacky hehe. The new little mini games were pretty cool two like the running sequences and the IF7 stuff was really unique and challenging (Though im not a fan of timers). I quite like the new beachy area as well, it was a nice breath of fresh air compared to being around Kamaracho or Sotenbori all the time.

That being said though, the fighting mechanics arent as great as the other games, there not the worst in the world but sometimes its quite tedious especially when you get to some of the boss fights who nonestop block everything or just bullshit through your attacks. It was a good journey through everything though, and that Amon fight was sweat worthy, I was very satisfied by the end in beating him. Surprisingly easier then Kiwami but great none the less.

Overall, this games pretty fun and its still a Yakuza game even if it isnt as fleshed out as future installments so I had a great time playing it.

An 8-bit beat em up masterpiece. I freakin love this game, its got everything you could ever want in a game, a fantastic soundtrack, level design, over the top but fun boss fights and incredibly fun gameplay. Like you can send people to the moon and use other people to beat up other people, what is not to like!

Its a little fidgety at some points, there are a few glitches and if you grind for the $500 to unlock the special store then you basically just enable easy mode which I kind of regret doing, it would have been more satisfying to beat the final boss as a challenge but me and my brother didnt even lose a life once at the last stage. Its also a little short only having 7 stages. If it just had a little bit more content then I think this would definitely be a 5 star game.

But overall what it had and how fun and fantastic this game is, it more then deserves the 4 stars im giving it.

Going from Mario 64, to this...is a biiig step up in quality for me lol. I mean dont get me wrong, I liked 64 and appreciate it for what it is and I had fun with Sunshine...but this...this was both the perfect combination of pure fun, beautiful setting's, variety of levels and mechanic's and difficulty. Like some levels are just pure fun and easy, others later on are for those who want a little bit of a challenge kind of thing. And Mario in this game controls perfectly, even with my slightly dodgy controls. Not once unlike with 64 and Sunshine did I complain to Mario that he's not jumping high enough or curse at him. Because in this one, if I died or got hit, it wasn't the games dodgy mechanic's, it was usually my fault. Also the music in this game is just phenomenal, like, I could listen to it all day long. The number of beautiful or tense or happy or pure awesome tracks in this game is amazing, in fact I will probably go and save the tracks to my music library later.

The only downside I can possibly see is the wii controls (or wii like switch controls), if your not used to the wii controls for beginner users it might feel off or control weirdly but it wasn't a problem for me since the wii was basically my first console.

Honestly, I can go off on how great this game is for a long time and compliment every part about this game, because it is amazing and in my opinion, revolutionary for its time as a wii game and for how the game works but then this review would be way too big. So I will say, overall, this game is just the perfect mario game and it is a must play. It is so much fun, so pretty and unique in every galaxy you go to and is one of the pinnacle points for me in terms of Mario games. Cant wait to play Mario Galaxy 2.

I have heard quite a few things about Mario Sunshine before I started playing it, from one person I heard it was a really bad game, from another I heard it was essentially a B-movie in the fact its so bad its good...and from another they told me its a good fun game.

I lie somewhere in the middle in the fact its a really fun game with some nightmare fuel levels due to them being tricky by design and also the mechanics of sunshine makes them hard. Like 64 had some freaking maddening levels but some of these were in another league (Im looking at you river leaf and Pachinko level, I didnt do them because I didnt wanna suffer the pure torment considering I lost it in some of the non-Fludd levels.)

But anyway, for the most part, I actually really loved Sunshine, sure the voice acting in the story leaves...something to be desired but the area's in this game are superb and about 60 to 70% of the episodes were pure fun and great in design, like gathering the red coins out of the coral reef or the mysterious hotel delfino level. Some of the bosses are absolute classics that are really fun and have gone down to be favourites in the mario universe, like Petey Pirahna and Gooper Blooper so if that doesnt tell you all the greatness this game accomplished, I dont know what will.

Overall, this is a super fun game and despite its flaws, is really something special in my opinion. It may make me want to punch someone in some places and its not exactly perfect with its sensitive controls and unbalanced mechanics at some points but its fun factor overall more then makes up for it. I probably wont pick this up again for a long time but im very happy that I played this.

Ooooo boy, Mario 64....the best way I can describe is, it is a love and hate relationship, it can make you really happy but it can also make you cry and bash your head into a wall. And oddly enough, im usually quite calm when it comes to playing video games but this one actually brought out the worst in me with some of its platforming sections. Especially Tick Tock Clock and the rainbow course. The fact that the controls I was using sometimes made Mario move forward unpredictably by himself towards the abyss did not help also.

But literally, that's all the bad stuff I have to say, that and the controls sometimes were a pain in the ass but despite that this game is actually REALLY GOOD! Even in this time period, I had a lot of fun with this and I can tell why this was a revolutionary game at the time, the exploration, the different kind of powerups like the wing hat (though its a bitch to be able to learn how to properly use it), metal cap and the invisible cap, the different kind of worlds you can explore and most of all, mario running around in a 3D setting. I can imagine back when this came out, everything was fresh and jaw breaking. And to be honest, even now, apart from Mario's goofy face, the graphics in this game aren't that bad. Everything's colourful and detailed as best as it possibly can be and I loved every environment!

Overall, this game is incredible even today...that being said though I will not be touching this ever again because of the pain some of these levels gave me but its absolutely worth the play if you have never played it before.

Its taken me a month and a bit but I finally managed to complete this. And I gotta say, I actually really love this game. How great it looks in visuals, to the combat, to the music, the story was pretty dam good with plenty of plot twists and I even loved its minigames and side content. It didn't get my heart pounding and stirring as much as Yakuza 0 which I think is the only reason why its not 5 stars for me. But it did in very few places like at the very end, no spoilers.

I practically did everything in this game as well, I completed both sidestory mini games which are a ton of fun by the way. Most of the bouncer missions and of course every substory...the only thing I was a little disappointed in was the fight with Jo Amon, the supposedly toughest enemy in the game. Im not sure what everyone else thinks but he was a complete pushover compared to Yakuza Kiwami 1. In Yakuza Kiwami, he took me 2 hours and over 10 trys to beat him. In this one, literally 15 minutes and 3 trys. I honestly had more trouble with Sango Amon with his one shot rocket launcher then Jo Amon. But thats my only disappointment with the game and the fact it didnt get me emotional compared to some other 5 star games ive rated (Including the GOAT Yakuza 0) but this was still a brilliant game in practically everyway and I definitely see myself replying it in the future!

I'll start off with saying, I've never played the first Diablo or 2nd one but I have seen some quick videos of them to get the general jist of the story for this. I actually played this game when it came out ages ago along with the reaper of souls DLC and ive given it a replay. Gotta say, this game still kicks ass and still looks good to this day. Multiple classes you can play as, every class having a lot of variety, super simple to play and the amount of lore in the story is insane!

Its not entirely perfect as some of the areas are a bit too massive for my liking and on top of that, there are different chances for certain events to in said areas to spawn. Its not a game I could play nonstop like some other games but its definitely one of those games that is really good for some chill hours or playing with a group of friends with.

Ive played as 4 classes, the barbarian, crusader, demon hunter and for this replay, the necromancer and I had tons of fun with all of them. I think the necromancer being my personal favourite. Overall, this game is a freakin blast and I gotta say, the cinematics in these games (Like all Blizzard games I think) are absolutely god dam nuts, possibly some of the best most epic cinematics ive seen to date. Looking forward to Diablo 4 when that comes out.

Still off the high of Yakuza 0, I decided to nearly straight away give Yakuza Kiwami a shot whilst keeping in mind that's a heavy remake of the original. I put 69 hours into it (Nice), did every substory, got every skill (Love you Majima!) and even beat Jo Amon (which was a lot more challenging then expected!).

And what I have to say about this game is...its not bad, its obviously not on par with Yakuza 0, that game is god like but the story was decent and the gameplay is pretty much the exact same. I think Nishiki should have got more spotlight as the main villain instead of Jingu Pingu (Noot! Noot!) and by that I mean, they kind of made Jingu the big bad guy and more Nishiki the big rival which was a bit ehhh. But a part from that, it was a good game in the majority of places and I enjoyed it.

You know its a masterpiece game when you can have a chicken as your estate manager. One of the most engaging, twisting, most incredible storylines I've ever seen and a fantastic game in every aspect.

For the first Assassins Creeds game, I thought it was actually pretty decent. It is far from a perfect game, like, really far. Some of the stuff in here that I liked could actually potentially make this a two star game for someone else and if you rated it that or lower I understand why. But for me, its imperfections made it even more enjoyable for me hehe.

First off, the story was pretty decent, not amazing or anything but it kept me interested. The different areas in the game were...well you could definitely see its age...but at the same time in places you cant, its weird hehe. I liked how open it was and what the view of the different city's were like. The combat was nice as well though at times when I got thrown or hit someone down, they would sometimes end up in a glitchy mess which can either be annoying or super funny.

The only thing about this game that I disliked was the climbing mechanics and how the controls are displayed, the climbing mechanics were not good lol and would fuck you over every chance they got. The controls were a pain in the ass two, like they dont display as key bindings or Y, X, B, A, they appear as bloody symbols which...at times can really confuse you.

Other then that, its a pretty decent game for the first Assassin game, it definitely has its downs but it has many more ups then downs. Im looking forward to playing the next games where they will build upon this a lot more

This is the second Pokemon game I have played after Sword (With DLC's) so thats the only Pokemon game I can really compare it to. Honestly it was a bit bland with the amount of Pokemon you can get throughout the game which I think dialled down the fun factor a bit. I liked each of the gyms though and I thought the story was decently good, I think I liked it better then Swords. The rival you make at the start is probably the best and most challenging rival so far, definitely better then god dam Hop. Then we have the Elite Four + Cynthia, which I think were super cool. A great challenge that had me sweating for the first time playing Pokemon (I didn't use Fairy-Type so euston we had a problem with Cynthia). On the whole, I would say this game is pretty good and fun in some places though I'm not a fan of the national decks being unlocked after the main story, I thought that was kind of a dumb move to do in a game.

This is a god dam gem of a game that came out in 2002 on the PS2. Very beautiful for its age and I liked the story and characters a lot. Although. Fuck. The. Chicken. Level! And Mz Ruby's dance dance revolution bullshit. But mainly the chicken level! Whoever made that is a sadist. Apart from that, amazing game! Looking forward to Sly 2!

Thank the lord to whoever took over from this series and saved it. This game is like the basic tutorial of how to save a franchise with one game. Dante is now such a beloved character to me and Vergil was such a great villain along with his voice actor as well. The humour is great every step of the way, some of the boss fights and levels are really cool and fun and the combat never ever gets old with the amount of weapons and combos you can do. It also produced one of the most unforgettable rivalry's in video game history.

However, some of the other levels and bosses are kind of a pain which is what is stopping it from 5 stars, it still suffers a little from some of the layout of the previous games, mainly the whole, "your in a castle, gotta solve puzzles and figure out where you need to go" aspect like in the first game. But at the very least they have improved on that aspect vastly and not made it as much of a maze as the first game.

Apart from that, this game is so much fun and you need to play this if you haven't already, its simply brilliant even to this day.

Ok, so compared to the first game, I actually think this one is slightly better. Its still lacks in a lot of area's such as characters basically all doing the same thing and the fact a lot of characters have different outfits for filler so changing characters is pretty much pointless...which is why they practically give you the Voldemort and Bellatrix unlock right at the last level which is nice I guess. But it is a Harry potter game following the last game's formula and had limited characters so I guess thats just how it is. However, short list of how this game improves on its predecessor, much better looking (obviously), I like the duelling aspect although I think they used it a bit too much and I love the spell changes I thought they were much neater then the older setup. I think they did the levels a lot better then the other game two. Thats about all I have to say, its worth a play although its not the best lego game out there by a long shot.
