Dude, buddy, pal...there's a character that literally has moans sampled into her main theme. No, I ain't fucking around here.

in terms of resident evil this is one of the most of all time. it doesnt really do anything new or fun. it feels like filler. but it is more resident evil and it can be fun at times.

maya gets charged with 1st degree murder simulator part 1

I love how much the judge clearly hates Phoenix. Like we could have fifteen murder weapons all with the real culprits fingerprints alongside a full confession from the murderer while they're foaming from the mouth on the stand but because we didn't explain a motive for our defendant the judge is just like, "Sorry there's no proof, guilty, throw 'em in the chair".

Sorry, I'm not a massive Fusion fan. I'm one of those folk who takes issue with the segmented structure, chasing after destination points, and the constant consultation with the commander. I've also got problems with the security clearance upgrades that don't fundamentally add to Samus's abilities, how scattershot some of the mandatory secret entrances are, and how much the level design seems to suffer by the point you fight Nightmare, which I don't really see get brought up as much.

They were overwhelmingly irritating sore spots on my first playthrough, and they gave me pause about the idea of coming back for a second run, but they didn't bother me nearly as much on the Switch. I was able to appreciate the rest of it more. I think Samus's eventual subordination towards "Adam" rounds out the arc that was retroactively introduced in Other M (by worse storytellers) quite nicely. Super Metroid is easily my favourite game in the series, but I can see how Fusion would serve as a more welcoming entry point for new players, and might lead them to go back afterwards. The music often comes off as corny, and soured me to the whole idea of the X Parasite, but seeing how thrillingly that stuff gets paid off in Dread warmed me to it. I never took much stock in the appeal of Metroid's continuity before Dread, but I think it benefits some of the patchier games that surround it.

Since this was my second time through, I took a more casual approach, allowing use of the Switch Online rewind feature whenever I felt like it, which mellowed a lot of the frustration I had last time, but I don't think I really needed it. I think I just hadn't found enough health upgrades on the first go. It's not nearly as rough if you look for them. The segmented structure often means you're locked off from backtracking, though, so you'd better just be thorough on your first time through each location.

Looking forward to Zero Mission, because I liked that far more. I'm just a little worried it might not outshine Fusion quite as much next time.

no mercy for malformed things

A game that wears its grotesque atmosphere and gameplay proudly. Replaying this game as a whole was just an idea I thought of on the spot after some personal issues, and after pouring out over another 80 hours I feel just the same as all those years ago when I first beat it. When first playing I remember how much I adored the gothic take it approached but the replay cemented my feelings on that. The polish in regards to level design is unmatched, like the unseen village, fishing hamlet, and a common trope even in souls games but fighting Gehrman in the flower field is spectacular.

While its base game has its own collection of positives, the elements that come together to make the DLC are still prevalent in base game to me. Ludwig, the first hunter of the healing church and my favorite boss in all of Bloodborne, and if i'm honest my favorite ost to accompany a boss in souls games, an ost that genuinely incites fear and hesitation in you. While his first phase portrays him being decrepit and broken down, the subtle touch of his second phase being reconnected with the Moonlight Greatsword and his moves in turn becoming more focused and polished than his first phase having sporadic moves to then dancing between the projectile slashes will never get tiring. His fight while taking me less than 5 tries still felt rewarding and your talk with just his floating head ontop of all the floating carcases actually got emotion from me, and the slight detail of equipping church gear allowing you to speak with him further. “Good hunter, have you seen the thread of light? Just a hair, a fleeting thing, yet I clung to it, steeped as I was in the stench of blood and beasts. I never wanted to know, what it really was. Really, I didn't” AHHHHHHHH HES DONE MIRACLESS ON MEEEE

Lady Maria is also just an absolute joy to fight and my favorite fight outside of ludwig, its a humanoid fight done perfectly. Orphan of Kos is another trip cause the scream I let out when I first beat that orphan oh my days. I’d be lying if I didnt say I hadn't had slight grievances with this game like Micolash’s fight just being dumbed down to a gimmick. The idea of traversing through Mergo’s Loft within the boss fight in itself interesting but what makes it all fall flat is Micolash himself, with his moveset being dumbed down to just spamming Augur majority of the fight. The best part of Rom’s fight being the stage itself and Hemwick Witch just being rubbish and forgettable. Also brainsuckers area alek level enemies. I could go on about the Laurence fight but my only grievance about that fight is his snatched waist that gives him that small ass hitbox. Some small things like a limited weapon inventory compared to other souls games in a way pushes you to stick to a weapon instead of shuffling through them with the trick system being an addictive feature. while most souls games aim towards abandoned stages devoid of life, Bloodborne stays loyal with Yharnam and all the areas you come across, the gothic and genuine decay carries over the story especially with the victorian era architecture and how dimmed down the colour palette throughout the story is. It’s lore that makes you pay more attention to your surroundings and want to dive in deeper to divulge answers to the world around you and the revelation that the blood thirsting monsters roaming around you are nothing but end results of the world around them plagued by the Great Ones which is an aspect that continuously pushes the story, and, succumbing to bloodlust and disease that traversed throughout Yharnam. Miyazaki presented so many layers with this game and contrived something special here

Eileen come home the kids miss you

If you never played this game, sadly there's little to no point in doing so now, it was a 'you had to be there' type game. Of all the things I could wish for again in my life; I would wish to relive the era in which Little big planet 2 was popular. The community was absolutely amazing and the only video game community in which I could randomly join someone's pod and end up still chatting to them 9 years later! Inadvertently this game has shaped me and my personality therefore creating me as a person and I am none but thankful to media molecule for it. "Out pops a transcendental dream verse. A remarkable place where the real meets the fantastic and this vast expanse of imagination has a name, they call it Little Big Planet"

Ok

Elden Ring, is the nice boy in class, he has all the good grades, he's not particularly ugly, he's cultivated, he'll likely gonna get into a good university once he's gonna graduate, he seems to have no flaws, except one, he's painfully boring in its flawlessness

Demon's Souls on the other hand, he's the bad boy , he's dark, sinister, a bit cringe , he has black hair, he makes barely passable poetry , he smokes marijuana and is involved with several case of high school crime, he always brings a guitar and listen to 21 pilot on his airpods, not the kinda guy you should get interrested in, he looks silly , he looks like a fucking looser, he thinks he's goat, but he's not goat, he's just a piece of shit edgy kids and oh my god I hate this guy, but one day you go to a party

Who did you end up in bed with ? That's right , not fucking ER, he's too good for this, It's DeS, you woke up next morning, and he fucked you and you look past the bed border and your mom is lying on the floor , fucked like she never has been before. Then he wokes up with pancackes, kiss you goodbye and leaves you with a teen pregnancy he's never gonna act upon. But the memory of such an experience will last with you for the rest of your goddamn life
