The story is good, but the gameplay ranges from boring and repetitive at best, to frustratingly tedious and obtuse at worst. If you're a Nier fan, just watch a plot synopsis. Do not subject yourself to this travesty of a video game. I'm so glad that Yoko Taro didn't continue on this path when it came to the Nier series.
