Great use of alignments and alignment reps (except neutral). Story is pretty good too and it has really fun gameplay. The last good SMT game and also the best SMT story

Unique use of alignments + only one alignment rep makes for a pretty interesting story. If it was made today by the original creative team with SJ type visuals it'd probably be the best SMT game

God tier music, relatable characters and an interesting combat system lead to a really cool game. Too bad it's really easy

Story kinda meh but the maps are well designed and you have tons of ways of approaching a mission. Great art style too which prevents the game from looking outdated

Really badass story with some dumb plot convenience moments. The section leading up to the final boss had me soying so hard

God tier OST and some cool characters. Story isn't that great but the overall experience is really fun

Story and characters are just okay but the absurdity later on makes up for it. Combat on foot was pretty fun, loved racking up humongous combos and using magic and the dragon combat is genuinely fun and challenging. Really interesting OST too

Good story, great characters and memorable ost. I used to think this game was just okay but Automata gave me a newfound appreciation for it

Great characters and lock on actually works now. Still mixed on the ending of the game but at least it's kinda cool

Great evolution of the previous games. Combat isn't as bad as zoomers say it is. If you rushed through the game without learning Komaki techniques and you complain about enemies blocking that is entirely your fault

Proof this franchise is creatively dead but hey at least you get to punch god in the face right hahahahahahahahaha

2/3 of this game has boring story and characters and the final 1/3 isn't enough to make up for the rest. Mid ass combat + the entire game being yellow/green/grey + that filter they randomly use results in horrible button mashing gameplay where you can't tell what's going on. Music is pretty forgettable too
