The Great Sea has to be one of the worst over worlds ever put in a video game. Anything cool that is there is in the middle of vast seas where you can legit put your controller down and go to the bathroom with no consequences. The dungeons are nothing special from what I've played either (Tower of the Gods). That being said this game has a very nice art style so if that's why you play games, go for it but there really isn't anything else here.
Paper Mario: Sticker Star is by far my least favorite game of all time. Every character and location is bland and feels like it was ripped from a New Super Mario Bros. game and written by a high school student. The story is virtually non-existent and the combat system serves no purpose with no real incentive for battles at all. All of the boss fights in the game come down to finding the right one hit kill option on the over world. On top of this, virtually all of the puzzles require you to use consumable items which likely means you'll have to back track to places you've already been to to get the right sticker. The only redeeming qualities are it's solid soundtrack and art style. Do not play this game unless you are the one being paid. Preferably over $100.
Without a doubt the best game I've ever played. Everything about this game is top notch from its writing to its unique areas, amazing soundtrack, fun visuals, a really nice take on the classic Mario story, coupled with one of the coolest gimmicks a video game could have. Playing nearly half the game with Bowser was and still is something completely unique to this masterpiece. The battle system is one of the best I've seen in an RPG, second only to its sequel, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. It truly is the best game of all time.
