@RedBackLoggd Thanks for pointing this out. I do want to add that the sound design is very well done - the old house creaks and big footsteps as you wander around are effective and had me turning around a couple times expecting something. The score I loved too. It's an obvious comparison but reminded me of the doomy jazz of Twin Peaks, so it really helps sell the Southern Gothic setting. I do agree with IGN in that it wasn't especially scary, especially the way they separate the monster encounters from the main location. It's more 'moody' than scary.
