Yeah, it's kinda mid, but leaning more to the good kinda mid. The original Pac-Man World didn't look like anything special, so this remake is pretty straight forward in that regard and delivers a pretty faithful remaster of the original....At least...As far as I can tell, idk I never played it lol.

It does improve a lot of stuff from the original game from what I've heard and even if it isn't the best platformer compared to other modern ones, at least it is short and sweet, which I also appreciate.

What I DON'T appreciate is the fact that they made the cutscenes so BLAND! The cutscenes in the PS1 game were so fucking cursed! But they were the best part of that game!!!

This game doesn't have Pac-Man yelling at the top of his lungs, or Pac-Man JR getting lobotomized, or Pac-Man eating Orson alive at the end of the game. They even got rid of the fake outtakes from the PS1 game...... WHY THE FUCK DID THEY GET RID OF THAT?!

Yeah...Overall, the presentation for this one is a bit lacking compared to the original game. It's still a solid platformer, but I really hate when these game companies think that modernizing a classic requires them to strip these games of all personality.

3/5. Play it just so we can get Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac PLAY IT NOW!!!!

The first time I saw the trailer for this game, I was through the roof, I could not contain my excitement. However, it didn't take long for me to notice the red cards.

The characters arriving to the field like they are PNGs in a Power Point presentation, the generic and dull grass fields, the fact that this is a modern Mario Sport title...

Then later down the line, I started noticing:

- That the character roster had like only 10 dudes
- That the character animations were severely toned down
- That the characters had reused voicelines instead of brand new ones
- That none of the other Bowser minions were available as playable teammates
- That the customization aspect kinda made each character's stats meaningless
- That the game lacked any significant extra content
- That DAISY WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND.

I'll get to the point. This game is empty, and it has no meaningful content worth the price.

This game is soulless, not because Next Level Games could not make a good follow up, but because Nintendo clearly rushed them to make another subpar Mario sport title as soon as possible.

This game is a joke, because playing as each character means nothing anymore and because the main gimmick of this game doesn't even matter at all, or has any impact on the flow of gameplay. Oh, you are telling me that I can combine two different environments, but the actual game field will stay as two halves of just plain and boring GRASS? Wow, that changes nothing, how cool, thanks a lot.

This game is an insult to the people that were waiting for a Mario Strikers Charged follow up after more than 15 years of BEGGING.

This game is not Mario Strikers, so as far as I'm concerned, I am still waiting for said follow up.

2004

Another random game I just suddenly remembered I played at some point.

Free game baby!! Another free game to add to my game count!!!

N stands for Number go up!!!!!!!!

Same things that I said about the original version of Sonic Mania, it still is pretty much the same game, so still really good for the most part.

I do want to mention tho, the DLC is really good. I really like the inclusion of Mighty and Ray, they are both fun and pretty different from the main trio.

I also really like the Encore Mode. All the new versions of these levels are pretty cool and I do like the new bonus stages...Even if getting the chaos emeralds in Encore Mode is a lot harder than in the main game.

I do kinda wish you could also play with two random characters at the same time in the main game tho, the same way you can in Encore Mode. It's a cool idea, and I hope they bring it back for a future 2D Sonic.

So yeah, great game, great DLC, final super Sonic boss still sucks balls. Will replay it again some day.

I always thought that people were just blinded by nostalgia and this game was nowhere near as good as everyone said it was...Because that is always the case...Particularly when it comes to Sonic. However, after having played this game, I can say with certainty that this has dethroned Sonic Mania as my favorite 2D Sonic game.

Simply, everything about this game is really good. The stages, the music, the controls, the level design, the level gimmicks, the bonus stages and minigames; even the storytelling is good in this one, and these characters never speak! it just has it all!

The best part about it to me however, is the fact that, this is the longest 2D Sonic game they've ever made (Or that I have played I guess); this means that you will have plenty of content and hours of thrilling fast paced platforming to keep you entertained. I still remember how happy I was once I beat the boss in Launch Base Zone, which felt like the end of the game, only for it to just keep going with like 8 more zones.

I was just having a blast with this game the entire time, and I kinda want to replay it again the same way I have replayed Mania like 9 different times. I do have one complaint tho, ONE thing this game does poorly, and it is that FUCKING BARREL.

I'M SORRY, I HAD TO COME BACK AND MENTION THIS. WHY WOULD YOU DESIGN IT LIKE THAT SONIC TEAM?! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?! I WAS STUCK FOR LIKE 15 MINUTES AND I HAD TO LOOK AT A YOUTUBE FUCKING VIDEO SO I COULD GET PAST THE STUPID FUCKING B

Anyway, it actually is that good, give it a shot if you haven't. 3 Knuckles out of &....................Knuckles.

Now this, this is what Sonic 1 should've been. This is a pretty good high speed platformer, with fun new ideas and mechanics.

I'd say they took everything that worked from the first game and brought it back for this one, but even better. Levels are more like Green Hill Zone and less like Marble Zone, there is a better sense of progression in difficulty, collecting Chaos Emeralds is not that much of a pain in the ass anymore, the music is really really good and Sonic finally has the spindash.

I also played the Sonic Origins version, so I don't know how different it is, other than the fact that they fixed the half pipe bonus minigame.

This game still has issues tho, case in point, some of the last few levels are still Sonic 1 levels of bad. Metropolis Zone is slow, tedious and annoying, full of cheap enemies and traps that will slow you down all the goddamn time, and Sky Chase Zone is just fucking awful.

The final boss is also pretty annoying because you have to fight it with 0 rings, which....I get it, but, there had to be a better workaround than letting him insta kill me by just touching me once.

Overall, this is a really good Sonic game, not perfect, but certainly miles better than both Sonic 1 and CD. Honestly, you can probably skip those two and just start with Sonic 2, you are not missing much.

This collection of games is alright in my eyes. I never played Sonic 2 or Sonic 3 growing up, so I can't really tell how hard they fumbled these versions of the games.

I mean, this is actually a good selection of games (One of the only times they have re-released Sonic 3 & Knuckles as far as I know), cute presentation, story mode connects these games through neat animated cutscenes... There is also some bonus content and missions, as well as some quality of life "improvements" to Sonic 1 and CD........They still suck tho.

My biggest problem with this one is SEGA and how scummy they were, with the confusing advertising and needlessly complicated different versions of the same game that all offered different things. This game is not bad, but I'm not sure it deserved to be as pricey as it is.

Overall, I think I would still replay it...But you are probably better off emulating these games. I will certainly not be playing Sonic Origins Plus, just so I can play with Amy and a bunch of shitty Sonic Game Gear games or whatever.

I just remembered I played this one too. This is the only Arkham game I have ever played but I'm not even sure if I did beat it or not.

From what I remember, this one was insanely fun and felt super great to pretty much do anything as Batman. Giving it 5 stars, since I haven't played any of the other ones, so this one is the best one lol.

I have played both the Switch and the PC versions of this game. I will be talking about the Switch version since that is the one I have played the most.

This game is probably the best beat 'em up I've played. Good controls, great animation, great presentation, great music; the gameplay is fun and addictive, there are plenty of secrets and different optional collectables, and I felt like the difficulty in this one was a lot more balanced than in the Scott Pilgrim game for example.

I love that there are so many different characters that you can play as, as well as the fact that you can play with up to five other people, which is insane. I can only imagine how chaotic and how much of a blast it must be to play this game with five friends...Unfortunately I don't have that many irl friends that visit me that often and are willing to sit down with me to play this game.

There is also the option to play online with strangers but it's not the same really; plus, I'm very socially anxious and I don't know how to just use the voice chat while playing with people that I don't even know.

On that topic, I did once manage to get at least four other friends to play with me locally...However, it was very clear that the Switch just could not handle that many people playing this game at the same time...Which is a MASSIVE issue when that is the whole point.

I didn't test this online and I just stopped playing one day because I don't like to play these kind of games alone; but I do want to revisit this game one day, with at least one more friend.

It's an amazing game and you should play it. Only 4 stars and a half for the Switch version, but it deserves a 5 otherwise.

I CAN STILL HEAR HIS VOICE! HE WON'T SHUT UP!!!

HELP ME PLEASE!!! I'LL DO ANYTHING!!!! JUST SHUT HIM UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I barely got to play this one tbh, but what I got to play...I thought it was ok.

Then again, I've never played the original so I had no point of comparison. I will replay it some day and actually finish it.

Jill is hot. 3 Residents out of Evil.

This review contains spoilers

I was never interested in those Dynasty Warriors games at all, but I saw that they made one based on the events of Breath of the Wild pre calamity and I was just too curious.

The main reason I never cared for these games is because they always seemed like all you do is mash buttons and turn off your brain, which doesn't sound engaging or fun at all. After having played this one, I can say that my preconception of this gameplay formula wasn't totally accurate, but it wasn't 100% wrong either (At least when it comes to this game)...

I liked seeing these characters again, and there is definitely some fun to be had with performing combos and destroying these massive hordes of enemies with most of these characters. However, I was not a fan of the approach they took for the story of this game, I thought it was gonna be a re-telling of the story pre BotW, and how the whole fight for Hyrule went down before Link was defeated.

Instead, this game is just a what if scenario, with time travel and a happy ending where nobody actually died and Ganon was defeated for good from the very beginning. And yeah, I liked seeing Mipha meet with future Sidon, or Riju and Urbosa...But was it really worth it to ditch the actual story and make this game not canon just to have moments like those?

But in reality, my biggest issue with this game is just that it is TOO repetitive and tedious. Again, there is only so many times I can mash the Y or X button mindlessly and fight against giant enemies that take like a million hits to die before I get sick of it.

Not only that, but the game constantly will throw you in levels that are just massive areas that you must explore, while constantly move back and forth, between different characters, and all while you are mashing through the same hordes of enemies and giants over...and over....and OVER again.

By the time I was about to reach the end of the game, I was already sick of it! So when the game threw me in another massive map full of giants that would deplete my health like it was nothing, while I had to hit them a million fucking times and half...I just couldn't bother anymore! I just dropped it and watched the ending on YouTube instead.

I guess it isn't a bad game...I just really wasn't a fan of the approach they took with the plot, and I really don't like this gameplay formula. It's fun for a bit, but after you play for 20 minutes you have pretty much experienced the whole game; just tedious and repetitive button mashing and combo spamming for way too long.

If you actually like the Dynasty Warriors games, chances are you will actually enjoy this one...But this ain't for me. I abandoned it, but funnily enough, I didn't learn from my experience; after all...This is not the only Warriors game I'm gonna be talking about.

My friend insisted that I played this as well.

And that's my review!

First and only DMC game I've ever played.

I picked it up, I didn't know what the fuck was even going on, I thought the combat was cool!

Fuck yeah!

I spent like 30 minutes just looking for the one part I remembered about a random Resident Evil game that I played, where you fight Nemesis in like a gas station or something...Since I didn't even know how it was called. Well, it seemed hopeless, but I FOUND IT! I FOUND IT AND IT WAS THIS GAME!

That's it. That's the only thing I'm gonna say about this game.
