1993

I can't possibily write a review. The game speaks for itself way better than anyone ever could. What are you doing here, just go play this, you fool.

2016

Fun in short bursts, but sadly it isn't nearly as replayable as the original games. Still good though

Fun with firends, a miserable experience with strangers. The fact it's so barebones means it's easy to get into but after a while it's just a bit too repetitive
Quick chat is hell

Ahh, Kos... This game singlehandedly convinced me to buy a ps4. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Will I still ask for a pc port? Yeah, I guess, if only so other people can play it without having to deal with the 30 fps.

Note: i did not finish the game, I only got to the very start of day 8.

Despite its flaws (the jank, the inexcusably bad console ports and the fact it currently only has one playable character), it manages to do something at a level no other piece of art did for me: inducing nerve-wracking levels of terror and stress. At the same time, maybe because of that, its moments of joy, however fleeting, feel like absoulte triumphs. I love it, and maybe, someday, I will find the strength to finish it.

Edit: outdated review, I have finished the game and I'm also diving in it again will replay it again for a proper review.

Dialogue spoken by cartoon bears shouldn't be so effing good, how does this game pull it off so well

haha, funny man punches people and cries at bar

If this was the only videogame ever made, I wouldn't mind really

Reject humanity.
As in, push somebody into a wall so hard their limbs fly off and jazz music spontaneously plays

Man i wish I was smart enough to play this

This game depresses me because no other character action game's story will ever be this good

If this was 5, maybe 6 hours long I would have liked it. It's way too long and simply ran out of patience for it. I will say it has a really nice atmosphere and it pulls off its style beautifully; the voice-acting is great and I will never not love having an in-game radio to listen to music with.

"This can't be good for me, but I feel great!"
