Top 10 Games of 2021

My favorite games that came out in 2021

Forza Horizon 5 is many things: a visual marvel, a sandbox for creativity, a blast to drive around in, and my Game of the Year.
Metroid Dread is a fantastic execution of a familiar formula, and my favorite Switch game of the year.
Hitman 3 doesn't quite reach the highs of its predecessor, but nevertheless is a satisfying conclusion to a great trilogy.
I may never beat Fights in Tight Spaces, but I've found a lot of satisfaction in my many, many attempts.
As a newcomer to the series, I found The Show's mechanics, on and off the field, to be really satisfying, and it held my attention through the spring.
Lost Judgment's writing didn't quite pack the same punch for me as RGG Studio's past titles, but it is as fun to play as these games ever have been.
I can just picture Dungeon Encounters' devs laughing to themselves at the tricks they'd pull on players, and being the butt of their jokes generally made me laugh too.

I thought Sable might land higher on this list in its early hours, but it didn't quite build upon an impressive start.
WarioWare: Still good.
