While I never finished this game myself due to the repetitive nature of the dungeon, the story hit so hard for me I still fell in love with it. It's got an incredible cast of characters and handles its core themes of death and depression really well. The story the game delivers is sobering, emotionally resonant and packs a hell of a punch, especially the ending. Even if the gameplay repulses you, you should at least watch a lets play to see the ending because damn. <3
