I love seeing all of the reviews that expected this game to be a cute little crab game but got annoyed at Souls-like combat.

That aside, this was an amazing experience from start to finish. Perfectly encapsulates the "Souls atmosphere" while remaining lighthearted and vibrant. The story is handles so well, with an ending that's both satisfying and leaves potential for more sone day. The gameplay and world are deceptively deep, while remaining a compact enough experience to warrant future replays. If this isn't a perfect Shells-like gaming experience, I don't know what is.
