I like older games more than newer games, I'll get to that game eventually maybe. It is okay to not be up to date.

The main characters and dialog are largely awful, and the gameplay becomes very repetitive very fast. Co-op is an absolute slog nightmare to play. Despite not being crazy about the core head on combat gunplay I did enjoy being stealthy with a silenced sniper and bow combo. The tropical island setting is nice, and I would have loved it if the game somewhat was connected to the Jacutan island stuff from Far Cry Instincts/Evolution. There were times where I could see the game going in that direction, but the game just chalked it up to just some weird drug stuff instead. I initially loved this game on PS3 back in 2012 but not so much upon replaying, I still enjoy the original Far Cry and Far Cry 2 as well as the Instincts games. The real insanity is how popular the game become, leaving Ubisoft to copy and paste into oblivion.

The game that launched my more than casual interest in PC gaming, have played through every couple of years since about 2002. Most recently played on Steam Deck which runs incredibly, most shooters today still take inspiration from this 1998 beast. The sequel to the boomer shooter, I still think it is the greatest FPS of all time even though I think the general audience might get more from Half-Life 2.

The original PS1 Medievil is a classic that is always living in my head every Halloween season so instead of playing that one again I figured it would be fun to finally see the PSP version/remake. It has alot of the familiar feel of the original while also adding some new content and gameplay but isn't better than the original it is just fine. Tom Baker's lovely voice as the narrator is wonderful. The genie living in Dan's head is very annoying and unnecessary.
