waste of my time
story and characters are a solid 10/10 but the gameplay and performance/graphics didn't do it for me. Lots of bugs and clipping and I don't like the combat as much, I preferred the more stealthy approaches, now stealth parts are hell given how many enemies there are.

I think I can't ever explain the attachment I have to this game, but I think my 200+ hours can to an extent. I love love love the story and Velvet is just perfect in every way. Strong female main protagonist in a game? Give it to me all day. I'm so sick and tired of girl chars being damsels in distress or just pure wife material, there just to romance them or smth. This is the protagonist i want, you're not even the good guy who will save the world, hell nah, you're the bad guy, you bring death and destruction to everything and everyone wants you dead. I want more of this and I think I will never find anything quite like Tales of Berseria out there. 10/10.

Random things happening for random reasons, characters and cutscenes are soulless and even the protagonist doesn't understand a thing about the story. They couldn't even bother to upgrade the cutscenes from the original, running at a solid 480p 30fps. The combat system is sad tbh, the final boss was a literal breeze, i just pressed a button. And the fact that you can't do more than 9999dmg is just proof that they couldn't even balance the game correctly, you also level up at random lol.
Yeah Yuri is cool af but the story is sooo mid and Estellise is so goddamn annoying I can't. Tbh I don't get why this and Symphonia are so loved, kinda dragged them both because the story is awful

I expected so much from this game, picked it up day one and all and god is it boring. I mean the story kinda picks up 30 hours in but it's really nothing special. Characters are okay but that's all

Ten times better than the first one, characters are so alive and I love all their interactions. Highly reccomend doing every bonding you can 'cause they're awesome. Story is good and the child isn't annoying for once in a game

I still get goosebumps everytime that first badass cutscene comes in. Despite what everyone says I love the armor system and the gameplay is more complete than other tales. Also Zaveid step on me pls
it just gets repetitive after a while and it's really clunky, I tried hard to like this game but when I accidentally died and lost some days of progress that was it. You have a very limited range of things to do and you don't need most of em
