Aside from a couple bad technical hicups and segments, the best moments in this game still gives me goosebumps to the max. Sega nailed it with combining its narration with funny writing and just the right amount of edge as well as delivering some of the best 3d sonic stages. Honestly the only reason i take one star from it is because of some bad framerate dips, at times unreliable camera and the medal hunting.

The original is a tad better with conveying more emotions through certain cutscenes, my biggest gripe with the remake is the lack of proper character animations during cutscenes while the original did that perfectly with sprites. Other than that the game is just beautifully crafted and just as fun to play! Some minus for not giving you an option for just having a 3-heart gauge. A fun and relaxing platformer with a cute story and amazing soundtrack! (just enough to last one sitting)
Ps! Use phantomile language, don't play with the dub!

Top tier metroidvania styled jrpg. Bigger and more complex than part 1, but also a super solid second half of the Golden Sun saga.

Love the narrative approach this one has. Working your way from isolation from the earlier prime games and actually working directly with the federation force in the 3rd prime installment is a breath of fresh air.
The environments are a bit too tunnely and and a bit of a step down from the lavishily detailed environment in prime 2. Loading segments gets really in your face as you take shortcuts throughout the latter half of the game and valhalla is outright filler with lots of load times as you try to speed through. despite some of it's quirky design approaches, it's still a solid metroid with very intuitive mechanics.

As amazing as I remember it being, a classic jrpg strengthened immensely with rich worldbuilding, amazing music, great pixel art, an addictive battlesystem and some really neat dungeon designs. Golden sun follows the traditional battlesystem formula and expands upon it with powering up your characters by collecting djinns hidden throughout the game. Djinns affects your classes, changing both abilities and stats, leaving for a lot of cool diversity. Not to mention all the fun psynergy abilities you collect to solve puzzles. And this is just a small prelude of what's in store before reaching the second game. Both this and The Lost Age together make for one of the finest jrpgs to this day.

A great adventure game held back by some monotony. In terms of presentation it has solid writing, great voice acting and nicely stylised visuals really carrying out an endearing plot in a fantasticly creative world.

Combat is a fun hack and slash venture, which sadly could do with a bit more variety as you fight through the same enemies the entire second half of the game, in short not enough enemy or card variety to last out for as long as it did.

The world of random while fun to explore was at times a bit too samy and lacked a bit of flair to distinguish the environments , although I felt it improved with that throughout its latter half.

Some of the npcs had recycled models which killed off some of the immersion. The central characters stands out and compensates that issue in most regards.

Transitions from cutscenes felt shoddy and choppy(not sure if this is an issue outside of the switch version)

Aside from that i really had blast with this one and found the creativity and charm engaging enough to disregard its general flaws.

A sci fi jrpg for the n64. The story is B movie deluxe, but pretty darn entertaining. It has an interesting battlesystem, where you level up stats based on where you get hit, which moves you're using etc as well as you keep learning new moves from enemies when you get hit by them. The entire game takes place underground and consists of pretty much dungeon-crawling, but the great ambience and music keeps it pretty immersive. It does get a bit too repetive at the end with all the battle encounters, but it's an interesting venture for an incredibly rare genre on the system. Just make sure to stay away from the high resolution toggle. It requires a controller pak for saving as well.

From the dark and super ambient planet aether to the awesome lores and cutscenes, and then omwards to the incredible bossfights. And when you reach the Sky Sanctuary get ready for the peak of Metroid, it doesn't get better. Every area is littered with so many layered details and makes exploring so immersive. My personal favourite in the Prime series.

A lovely hybrid of fast paced platforming with melee mechanics. 3 separate characters with different playstyles, lots of unlockables and achievements, and a classic mode to simply enjoy the stages on their own. Awesome level design with branching paths, great bossfights, fluid mechanics and a banger soundtrack. A game that rewards and encourages you for both improving and playing well. Hands down a 10/10 platformer.

I have fond memories of the multiplayer, but never finished the singleplayer until now. I enjoyed the main story content, however backtracking is halted by constant respawning sub bosses and locked doors 90 % of the time, which breaks the entire flow of the game. Controls are pretty demanding, but not too bad when you get used to it. I recommend using left/ right handed mode and not the stylus. Some bosses still gave me some handcramp because of the need of constant precision aiming and movement..For ds standards this game has some insane value in presentation.

One of the greatest pieces of gaming.

The final piece we probably will ever get in the dreamfall series. And for the most part the story wraps up most loose ends . The final chapters of the game definitely feels a bit rushed, even though they have some really memorable moments. I still keep coming back to this series for the story alone

A great sequel with some pretty slick twists and turns. Unlike its predecessor the game is much more linear, yet still provides with some incredible set pieces, characters and narration.

Berseria to me was overall a decent Tales game. In terms of gameplay I feel like it improved much from Zestiria. The combat isn't nearly as complex, but still fun, fast and flashy. I enjoyed the cast of characters (Bienfu being an exception) and the story a lot. Soundtrack was so-so, especially compared to Sakuraba's compositions in other entries. I feel that there was a bit overemphasis on the exposition and I get that Berseria might've had a more modest budget, but having normal scenes play out in skits pulled out some of the immersion of the otherwise entertaining cast of characters and story

It's a bit on the short side, even for metroid casuals like me, but still fun for one sitting. Amazing remake for the gba with great spritework and super smooth movements.
