Excellent game. Did not finish and unlikely to just because I stopped at a bad spot, but brilliant ideas -- its in-world language and scattered manual pages are a brilliant idea. I didn't have the patience to tease out all its secrets but I want to be a person who does.
Overhated, but I am also baffled how these guys pretty concretely had a lot of unpaid labor from beginning devs and they never really apologized or made amends and they just keep trucking
Played co-op with my sister. Was relatively fun as a soulslike but got kind of annoyed when I finished a boss after she died and she didn't retain progress.
On one hand I never played an open world game so I'm not sick of em, but dang does this game integrate its traversal and quest systems beautifully. Just rub the controller pad and there's the wind, bringing up the UI and showing you to your next destination. Otherwise, you're completely immersed.
I only have room for one Hoyoverse game in my heart. I find exploring this world tedious and it was hard to jump in after it's been going for so long. Not for me.
