I don't know how they made this game feel MORE unhinged, but by god they did it.

Noise is a blast to use, especially when you really get his Shmovement down. I just think one fatal flaw that's sadly going to mean I'm just sticking to Peppino when replaying this game is Noise's minigun is so unsatisfying to use and how much that ruins two of the best levels in the game.

It's still loads of fun though. I otherwise like how much The Noise's playstyle really feeds into how batshit the game felt even as Peppino. In particular I really like how quick his super jump redirect is. And there's a good few funny gags that are exclusive to his playthrough. A lesser game would have the level gimmicks he doesn't interact with simply not appear, as opposed to in this game where they're present, just The Noise fucking destroys them.

A fun slight remix of Pizza Tower!

I've only just completed my first run and beat the last boss for the first time, but holy moly I absolutely will be playing more. It's extremely satisfying to get a good run going, and the game doesn't pull its punches, either. Would imagine it gets even harder with other weapons that aren't as generally reliable as the Splattershot.

I simply think it could use better floor variety, include more weapons, and have more chips to add to your palette. Plus maybe having the Spire be a few floors taller. But I should also probably keep in mind this is a DLC side-mode and not its own entire game.

Pearl and Marina's Honeymoon DLC is an A+.

This game is a complete delight from start to finish. Very funny, cute, and charming, it's a game where saying good-bye to the cast of characters hurts a little. Utterly heartfelt and genuine, and in general just a really cool display of what can be done with RPGmaker as an engine.

It lasts just as long as it needs to, and has so much polish the whole way through, it's really inspirational how this was a (mostly) one-person project. Stellar.

Straight up had a moment where I remembered the ending of Explorers and thought "Wow that game had such a big impact on me", got half a dozen hours into this one before remembering "Oh yeah, I found this game really annoying" and never touched it again.

Pikachu is such as asshole. Never meet your heroes, kids.

The only Stadium-type game I got around to beating because connecting your DS to your Wii worked a hell of a lot better than GB to N64.

No minigames though, so it's clearly inferior.

This game is great for when you didn't have friends to play the real TCG with!

This game felt like an out-of-season April Fools joke.

Again, mindless but weirdly fun. Worth a go if you can just get it for free.

Shooting Pokemon with guns before Palworld made it even worse.

Stuff like this makes me glad getting rare variants of Pokemon is just baked into the game itself these days, because man this always felt like a waste of time.

World's okayest Match-3 game.

For how much I dislike pinball, this one was alright.

Live Pikachu reaction

This has to be one of the weirdest Pokemon games of all time. Like it's so brazenly open about the fantasy of a world where all the product you buy and all the media you consume is Pokemon. Maybe that's a cynical read on it but jeez.

It's funny in how much it's a game about nothing. And also funny something like Hey You Pikachu got anything resembling a sequel at all. This game is just funny. Why do you exist, Pokemon channel?

This shit ruined my DS's touch screen dude
