The term peak fiction is thrown around a lot, but a story such as this is the zenith of the medium

This game fucking sucks holy shit. The lighting is still phenomenal but everything outside the lighting is the worst in the entire series

The Vergil fights make up for the last 1/3rd of the game being ass

There is a lot I can say about this game, but i think all in all i had a good time and enjoyed my time with it.

This game is like alright with some downright warcrimes for stages

There is a strong case to be made for it being the best in the franchise. Its characters are not the strongest but each has a core mission and emotions that are consistant. Lloyd does not quite trump Estelle as my favorite Trails protag but he is a strong second place

I think the way it concludes the Cold Steel saga is really really good and its an amazing journey, but some of the bond events (Juna is the one that always sticks out to me) for some characters just suck and feel like they strip away the development them and Rean have had in their relationship over the course of the two games. Spoilers for Juna's i believe 2nd bond event where she confesses to you. Her confessing and saying she is in love with Rean seemed really out oc character for me because the way it was written and came across in CS3 was that she saw Rean as a mentor figure who she can aspire to be, while Lloyd was her Idol and who she modeled herself off of. I did not sense a single hint of romance between Juna and Rean in these games and suddenly out of left field shes saying shes always had a crush on Rean. It just didn't feel right. Overall really really really amazing game hampered by odd narrative decisions.

Doesn't quite hit the heights of SC or Third for me, but its damn fucking close. It fixes almost all of my issues of Cold Steel 1 and 2 and expands on these solutions in such amazing ways.

From the level designs to the weapons to the music, it lands perfectly to create one of the best games I've ever played

This used to be on of my favorite games but the story has uhhhh shall we say not aged well. The visuals are still great

Average day in the life of a U.K citizen

Stunning wrap up to both the Erebonian and Crossbell arcs and an amazing way to set up the higher stakes and future of the series
