Ignoring the reliability of the Wii Mote, this is still an all around fun rhythm game. Definitely worth your time if you dig samba and salsa music. Or if you just want something very unique.

No rational person should actually finish the arcade game. But I did. Because Hiromi is cute. Also the music is great. And it's pretty visually impressive for the time and hard ware.
Don't play this unless you really don't mind getting your ass kicked by an obscene number of enemies. Otherwise this is a good game technically.

Strider is really cool.
Opens with one of the best first levels I've ever played in any game. The levels aren't too long, or too short. They'll only feel long because of the games difficulty.
It will kick your ass, but you can very easily figure out how you screwed up. The only actual badly designed level would be the final one.
The gameplay is really fun for how simple and fast paced it is. Hiryu's animations make something as basic as jumping look like a spectacle.
Top that off with an epic OST and you have an excellent arcade game.

This is pretty much KOF 94.
But this time it's more a love letter to fans of the series.
The stages are filled to the brim with cameos. The stages are almost completely new. The music is excellent.
The sprites are questionable, and it's not completely up to snuff visually.
But if you're a KOF fan, this version of 94 is worth playing. It even has OG 94 as a bonus and movies summing up the sagas!

Admittedly, there's a few things I could rag on this game for. I could rag on the gameplay being a bit tedious. I could rag on the voice acting being stilted. Yet I'm not going to do that.
This game manages to touch me in a way few works do. So for that alone, I believe everyone owes it to themselves to play this.

No doubt Platinum's best game and one of the best Transformers video games. The devs love for the franchise is very apparent. It feels like they were making their dream Transformers game. Or a version of the G1 show they believe they watched as children.
Only thing I can really flag this game for is that it might actually be a bit too short. And the sequel bait that's absolutely not gonna be followed up on. Regardless the game makes for a fun time.
If you are a Transformers fan play it. If you just like good video games, play it. Just play it.

This can be a pretty fun game, though there are some things of issue.
For starters the Ratio system is a bit too restricting as to who you can have on your team. Want a team with Wild Iori and Kyo? Too bad Wild Iori takes a whole 4 slots. The graphical quality of the sprite work is jarring. The SNK characters look great while the Capcom characters a mixed bag. Most of the sprites are spruced up SF A 3 sprites while Morrigan just uses her CPS II era sprite.
Asides from that, the stages are great. The music is an awesome mix of Jaz and electronic. And the gameplay is fun albeit restrictive.

Hololive fan games are generally impressive to me. No matter what the game is, there's always someone talented behind the helm. And the passion the devs have can always be felt. And that sentiment very much applies here. Idol Showdown for what it is, is a pretty good game from a team of passionate devs.
In general the game is a pretty fun, easy to learn fighting game. I do feel like it could be just a tad tighter, but in general it feels perfectly fine. The art is pretty good. Music is good. And I really appreciate the Virtual Frontier mode as a Holo fan. I love recognizing all the jokes, and piecing together who the items belong to. My only major complaint is again, I think the game could just feel better than it does. And I also don't like how the arcade mode has no continue option. I don't see any reason why that can't be there. Not having it there makes the arcade mode less fun. I also think some more little touches could used such as victory animations, maybe some unique win art, pre battle interactions. But again those are just little touches. Asides from that good game from a small team. Though one I admit has limited appeal.

This was so good that me and my friend immediately started it again after we finished our first game.
This is such a fun, incredibly addicting beat em up. The characters are all very unique, they are all colorful, and all really fun to play.
If possible play this with a friend for a very chaotic experience.

Only really good thing here is Maki

I went into this expecting something a SamSho, but I got something a bit more than that.
The game looks absolutely gorgeous. The sprites and backgrounds are all pure eye candy. The backgrounds range from being peaceful, to being desolate and somber. Which I think fits the game best.
Don't go in expecting a variety of music and character themes. You will instead get ambience and some orchestral pieces here and there. It does all help build the somber tone the game wants.
The gameplay is almost as if you were playing KOF with a SamSho coat of paint. The characters are all fun and charming. It's pretty easy to pick up and play, but like any good fighting game, has a deeper system for those that put the time in it. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a gimmick as much as the deflect button.
Overall great game. Just don't play the Steam port. Emulate or play the other ports.

Pretty fun game if you have an hour to spare, even if I do think it was stretching itself near the end.
Also Scumocide is Gill you can't convince me otherwise.

This is really the best simple fighting game I've ever played. The gameplay isn't all that hard to comprehend and it's really fun. Very pick up and play friendly. Which makes it a shame there isn't too many ways to play this game. I would genuinely recommend this to newcomers of the genre. Akatsuki also has the most unique aesthetic I've ever seen in a fighting game. There really isn't anything quite like it. Go play this game if you haven't it's on Fightcade now.

Would be better if the levels were shorter, but it's a charming enough game as it is.
