Coming off of Generations, this is one of the most disappointing Sonic games I've played. The series was really going places, just for it all to be thrown away for some weird experimental title. This is where the rut Modern Sonic is currently in started. It's a shame this game is not so great, because the parkour system is actually really interesting and could be a neat mechanic in future games. Everything else weighs the game down, though, which doesn't give the parkour system any room to shine.

This feels even worse to play than Heroes, which is impressive. Because of the branching paths and the requirements to get the true ending, this game massively overstays it's welcome. There are a few neat parts in the game, but you have to wade through piles of trash just for a scrap of something enjoyable.

Well...it's okay. Phantom Aqua is a fun boss fight, but I really don't find Aqua fun to play as here. It's overshadowed by ReMiND and KH2FM. I even think Aqua is more fun to play as in BBS than she is here.

MGS1 is a really beautiful story that has one of the more inspirational messages in the series. I love this game a lot.

PQ2 had kind of a rough start for me, since it's way more difficult than other Persona games, but once I got into it, I got really hooked. It's a shame it was left to die in obscurity on the 3DS, because this is such a solid spin off. The new character Hikari is really charming and so easy to sympathize with. It also does a better job of writing the rest of the cast compared to PQ1, which is seriously impressive, considering it has to juggle P5's cast as well. This game actually made me like Yosuke again, which I thought was an impossible feat. Kudos to you, PQ2. Overall, it's just such a solid game that I would recommend to any fan of the series with a 3DS.

This game is frustratingly worse than Bayonetta 1 to me. I didn't enjoy the story as much, which isn't quite a big deal, but man, the combat is just way too easy and kind of brain dead. I understand why this is a Nintendo exclusive, but I wish i could play this on a platform capable of running it at 60 fps.

Stormblood is good, in my opinion, but as far as the main story goes, only half of it is good with the other half in Ala Mhigo being offensively lame. That said, the post game content is kind of amazing, and it introduces some really cool jobs in Samurai and Red Mage. I'm not sure why Lyse is so prevalent in the title screen, trailers, and promotional material for the game, because she is about as relevant to the plot as your chocobo companion. You can remove her from the plot and almost nothing would change.

I almost quit the game because ARR bored me to death, but when I found myself with more freetime in my daily routine, I picked up FFXIV again and got to Heavensward. It is dramatic just how much better this is than ARR. One of the most memorable FF stories I've personally experienced, and it gives me a lot of hope for FF16.

100+ hour tutorial and a lot of lore dumping that is important for later
It's not bad or good...ARR is just "okay".

This has aged extremely poorly.

Much like Emerald, this game asks a question: "What if we took Diamond and Pearl, but made them actually good this time?"
That said, there are still problems that make this game miserable to experience. Playing this on an emulator with fast forward, or using a cheat code to make battles speed up is a necessity.

Black and White but even better.

People can be a bit too harsh about gen 5. It has some of the most memorable characters in the series and this really great story that I can never forget. I actually liked the new Pokemon too. The competitive scene for gen 5 was also my favorite time period of competitive Pokemon
