my 2nd favorite game you get to steal set people on fire and suffer brain damage what more do you want.

2018

the amount of effort i put into speedrunning this game makes me feel like an insane person

gave it a go solo on switch and it wasn't really my type of game, w stuff moving in real time stressing me out. second time around i played w my friends on steam and it was a far more enjoyable experience with my urge to micromanage everything kept in check.

nothing special, but a very good game for what it sets out to do, and it scratches that 'i am a god in dbz' itch. replay value is high i never get tired of it

fun for a while until repetition starts sinking in and the lack of predefined goals puts a damper on the gameplay loop. also the dlc is so overpriced and for what

lacks substance but it's a pretty enjoyable sim, with a main goal to keep you pushing and cool customizables. fulfills the power fantasy urge if you ever have it, and replay value is decent though gaming channels are the main attraction for sure.

enjoyable gameplay loop, with refined mechanics from the last storm game and cool gimmick parts like fighting on vertical surfaces and armor break. adventure mode is a bit of a slog though and i was relieved when i was finally done with it.

i have fun beating my friends at an 8 hour civ game at 4am that's all

most of the game is a breeze to get through but coming up with dumb ways to solve things is entertaining enough, younger children would probably have a blast with this

the learning curve takes a while to get used to and i think i was too young when i first played to really understand what was going on, but i had fun messing around. honestly will have to revisit this sometime soon to give it a better evaluation

an absolute delight with dumb fun from the gunplay. i actually prefer it over bl2 (and i played both back to back so i don't have any nostalgia bias) and the guns felt so good the lack of a strong narrative and bland environments didn't really matter to me.

doesn't really feel like an assassin's creed game, but achieves what it sets out to do well enough, plus anyone who likes the greek setting probably will be sidetracked by all the pretty sights and myth scattered around. i'd recommend putting it on the mode where all the locations are given to you automatically though, ac odyssey you are not the breath of the wild that you think you are.

very fun puzzle game that i enjoyed immensely, but is ultimately bogged down by clunky controls. the amount of freedom you have to solve however you want with a leaderboard based grading system that pushes you to do better scores gives this one major bonus points.

kinda boring tbh i played for a week and promptly forgot all about it. maybe it'll be more fun with friends, but for now it stays on the never ending list of shelved games i ought to finish but probably won't for a long while
