I greatly enjoyed Ragnarok - the art direction was spectacular, the ability to blend a unique story with Norse mythology continues to impress, and the gameplay was satisfying (if a bit repetitive at times. This story builds off of GoW 2018's themes beautifully and delivers an emotional end that I really enjoyed

Really enjoyed Horizon Forbidden West. I didn't play the original, but still felt swept up in the expansive world building. The story was fun, though not my favorite of this year. Gameplay was exciting, and art style was very impressive.

One of my favorite childhood games and still one of my favorite Star Wars stories to date. Playing on Xbox back then really shows how the game was left unifished but the cast of characters, the story, and the fun gameply still made places it close to the top of my gaming favorites list.

While Animal Crossing will always be some of my most beloved games, New Horizons feels like the most hollow out of all of the entries I've played. Much needed improvements throughout the years I've been playing it has definitely helped increase my enjoyement - the Paradise Planning DLC was the perfect addition - the lack of villager interactions and the loss of a lot of the charm of previous entries made it overall a disappointing entry to one of my most anticipated Switch games.

One of my favorite gaming experiences in a very long time. The unique control mechanic of using your eyes and blinking to control the game tied so perfectly into the theme and pacing of the story and delivers one of the most impactful emotional punches I have experienced in gaming.
