platinumed this morning, beat the main story on 10/21. very well worth the wait, i was addicted to this game so much so that i put 31 hours into it in one weekend, that much can't be said for many other games. builds upon the first in so many ways, the web swinging and combat feels amazing that i don't know if i can go back and play the first game or miles morales. the story i think is an overall upgrade over the story of the first game (though it's also because this game isn't doing the heavy lifting of setting that many things up) think this is a game that i will go back to many times and just keep replaying (waiting on NG+ though or else i would be replaying rn) can't wait to see what insomniac cooks next whether it be wolverine, spider-man 3, new r&c or literally whatever, their track record for the past few years has been amazing, i hope they keep up the good work.
Finally after 8 years I completed all the riddles and platinumed the game. After putting at least 265 hours into the game and playing it for this many years, to give it anything less than a 10 would be silly. I grew up with it and the rest of the Arkham Trilogy and although I can recognize it has flaws, it will always be special to me.
platinumed this game twice now. really good, but with spider-man 2 releasing in a few weeks and me having put so much time into this one, i think it's time to put it away for a long while. have a combined 120 hours between the ps4 and ps5 versions, thank u for all the wonderful memories. hopefully spider-man 2 can have that same effect on me.
