played up to chapter 4 and oh my god this is a gem. the art is absolutely gorgeous, absolutely the highlight of the game, and it did give me the creeps! super excited to see what happens next

forgot to log this when i played in early access back in... june i want to say? but to be brief, i like this!! the environmentalist take on stardew valley is nice, as well as the fact that it's set in indonesia, making it feel even more unique. the romance options and art style are absolutely charming, but at the end of the day the game still feels rough around the edges. will keep playing more of this full release to fully give an opinion but i totally recommend you try this out

no but for real??? how on earth in the year 2023 do we as a species deserve such a well-crafted game like this??? oh my god. undeniably game of the year, no one is taking this away from larian lmao. if i had to criticize something it'd have to be the loose ends + bugs in act 3 and some companions feeling underdeveloped, but i feel like it's such a minor flaw in what's otherwise a perfect game. durge november will be real soon.

well that was kind of a centrist's wet dream, and absolutely exhausting at certain points, but the game's kind of good enough that i wasn't so bothered by its flaws. there's a gigantic amount of work put into this, and it shows. i liked the consequences to my choices, the main trio is reasonably endearing and i actually cared about what was happening so you know [shrugs] could have been worse! will probably try for another ending sometime in the future

came back to this game after years of not playing it and you know, besides the bots and the fact this game has been left to rot for almost a decade now, this is still one of the most fun games i've ever played. as frustrating as it is sometimes ("bloody SPYYYY!") it has a spot in my heart that will never go away. these are still the dilfs of all time

finished the main story (after many trials and tribulations) and let me tell you, this game grabs you by the balls and won't let go. very addicting, and a super thoughtful and sentimental worldbuilding work, even if not all of it hits. will probably come back to this whenever i have friends who also have this game lol
ahhhh this was an absolute favorite of mine as a kid, and it absolutely lives up to the version of this game that lived in my mind for so many years. the graphics are that lovely sort of wonky that sims 2 had at the time, but it's amazing how fluid and creative the animation and the characters are. sims 4 could NEVER.
this has some really charming humor too, i wish the sims franchise branched out a bit like this again, but that's expecting too much out of ea/maxis

this game truly lives up to its reputation, and definitely earns every praise it gets. i'm absolutely positively obsessed with it, and even if i could consider it done since i beat the final boss once, i want to see this completed, no matter how many runs it takes (i'm over 50 now!). every character is compelling, zagreus is possibly the most charming protagonist to ever exist and just writing this i want to go back and keep playing the game, lol. can't wait for hades 2.

oops forgot to log this but i adoooooored this. if this got the disco elysium treatment and had full voice acting it'd be a masterpiece. so far i've only completed one playthrough, and i'm gonna wait a little bit before i try another, but i really really like this and i'm bummed it didn't get its game award 😑

um.. wow! this blew me away and i'm not even sure if i'm "done" with it. sure, yes the credits roled, but i feel like there's still a lot to explore (i just don't know if i have that kind of patience but oh well)
this is so well-crafted. i don't think i fully understand the story - and the story within the story - but honestly? just going by vibes i fucking adore this. i briefly forgot these people weren't real and this wasn't actually recorded in the 60s at times. the acting is fantastic, the cinematography is TRULY superb and i am definitely rooting for this game at the tga's
also i played this for 2 whole hours in the dead of night and completely failed to understand how to see the hidden scenes, lol. started playing it again the next day and it finally clicked, and i cannot tell you how many times i basically jumpscared myself.

as of this log this game is still in early access (thank you xbox gamepass for my life) and i have to say: i've been kind of obsessed with this game? god knows i've moaned about not having a switch to play acnh on, and desperately wanting to play it on pc, and this is the next best thing.
it's super addictive, if a bit rough around the edges (ran into a very annoying bug a day before the first patch fixed it, but otherwise haven't found anything gamebreaking).
