Full Moon Full Life

94 hours lead to this moment of re-experiencing that final 1 hour of me just non-stop crying especially in the last 15 minutes of the game. This game specifically means a lot to me and it getting this beautiful remake made with love means a lot to my heart.

Replaying this reminded me of this of how much of its characters and themes resonate with me and I still think about it to this day even though it's been years since I've played the original. It almost felt like a whole different experience, knowing what was going to happen, being older now playing this with a different mindset in my current life and still it has me thinking about it to this day especially playing this remake. I knew what was going to be happening towards the end of the game, but I still broke down in tears.

Even after finishing this game 2 hours ago, writing this while my mind is still fresh off it is just insane, it's so difficult to describe how much I love this specific game in the series so much. Even being older now experiencing this, there’s a lot going in my head on what I’m thinking about on persona 3, that makes me feel like I’m playing it for the first time again, going through all these emotions and the journey of this game all over again. Even after finishing writing this review that helps me spread out my thoughts, I will still be thinking about this game because of how much it has affected me and because of how much I love it. There is just so much to talk about from the beginning months to the end game months, the social links you do every time and how it corresponds with the story overtime and the characters joining SEES, etc. Aigis arc throughout this whole game and experiencing it again, this whole story arc in general. Getting to talk about Aigis and think about her even more would distract me for hours on end because of how much I love her. Aigis is one of my favorite characters ever and is my whole heart. Being able to have so much self-growth, to grow beyond her own insecurities and failures, to be able to start living life.

This game just speaks to you on everything, the relationships you make through life, the hardships you go through, the mental thought process on the complexity of life and much more represented through its themes and characters. Death is always present in our life that happens and can be without warning and not just that but our own personal commitment to our own life. We all deal with it but it's different in how we all respond to it and how it affects our lives. Being able to look forward and to keep going despite hardships and whatever we are going through in life with all our different situations.

The ending scene they remade in reload was much more intimate, affectionate and very emotional. I loved every second of it and cried my heart out. I fucking love this game man.

"Not everything needs to be for some greater purpose. Just caring about someone can be enough. That's all we need to give our lives meaning..."

Memories Of You

The End Of Denial.

One of RGG Studios most ambitious games carrying the whole legacy of Yakuza as a whole and they fucking nailed it. The perfect love letter to the LikeADragon/Yakuza Series. Dual Protagonists with one of the best two to ever do it, the most yakuza plot and setting, the themes and messages, etc. I am so happy to be a part of this journey of games to see this from back then and to now when this game was released.

The themes that Kiryu and Ichiban represent and show through their own games and this one is just really done well. How much they are able to change people through themselves and be the change they want to be positively, is just contagiously amazing. To come up from nothing, to be able to keep going in life even while struggling and to embrace those failures, regrets, past decisions, to be able to keep going no matter what is what this series is about and growing to be a better person and to embrace those happy moment in life, to keep on living no matter what, when you finally break through from coming from zero.

A game and series made this well with so much love doesn't come by often, that's why I love this series yakuza so much as a whole, it's filled with so much life and love. Everything about this game was perfect for me. Thank you RGG Studios for this series and this game.

“ ‪No matter how tough things might get, rest assured, they can always find a way through.‬”

'We all have to live on. Whether you're scum or not, it doesn't matter. You can't change a thing if you're dead. All of us, we have to keep going. And it's not light, nor is it dark. It's the grayest road there is.'

Ariamaru Tomi -The Invaluable-

One of the best conclusions to one of the greatest trilogies of all time to end off a series. Not explaining any story stuff in this review because you should play it for yourself but one of the greatest ever cooked. This being a love letter and a goodbye letter to this series as whole, being a celebration of the journey Takahashi has taken us through. This DLC content is so damn good to add onto the base game as a whole as you can treat it alongside to base game as a dessert after the well-cooked meal.

This DLC helps show that in the series as it goes through a bunch of the themes it has gone through its three games, the culmination of this beautiful DLC. Matthew being one of the main characters alongside Noah to help push along the core themes of Xenoblade 3 along with what base games does and its cast of characters, Matthew approaches the future, takes the good parts of the past and accepts the bad, and keeps moving forward. Rex and Shulk are also there as well with their themes from Xenoblade 1 & 2 to show that all these come together such as the future may be unknown but we should always keep matching forward no matter what happens and how our past hurts but we shouldn’t let it drag us behind, we can learn from our pasts, get back up on our feet and get stronger to be able to keep moving forward. This speaks to the Xenoblade Series as whole, to be able to reflect on our past, don’t let it drag us down but to let it help us move forward in life. To face our trauma and to be our true selves rather than to run away from ourselves.

Takahashi up there with the greats on being able to make beautiful art and personal stories throughout video-games.

"Nevertheless, our intentions will live on, and one day coalesce again. Be it tomorrow... or in a thousand years... Surely, the time will eventually come. I can see it, clear as day."

Future Awaits

I fucking love real gaming

The feeling and adrenaline rush during matches especially when its close and goes down to the wire is just amazing and this is what fighting games are about.

Amazing narrative and groundbreaking game controls and mechanics for its time for being a stealth game. I understand the love everyone has for this series already and Kojima as well. Being able to cook up themes that involve the series with real life issues as well as personal issues such as controlling your own fate, being a better version of yourself and pushing for a better tomorrow.

This games reception is probably one of the worst of all time and it affects a lot of people’s perception of when they do hop on this game and it takes away all their own opinions to formulate themselves and automatically prepares them to expect the bad and never any good. That being said, this game is a huge test to whether you are able to filter out the bad opinions and listen to your own opinions because honestly this is one of the greatest JRPG adventures continuing off from an already amazing game which is Xenoblade 1.

Getting this out the way as fast as possible, my only complaint was the checks on having certain field skills at certain points in the game and this is more towards the end of the game, this really hits the pacing and it feels just disconnected if you aren’t hitting those field skills correctly and I didn’t have any problems personally but I could see why people are complaining and this is because of the gacha system they implemented for blades. That’s basically my complaint and it’s not that huge, not even contributing to the overall combat and narrative.

This game is the definition if you have a lick of common sense, not for everyone but certainly for me. People who review this game as a hentai game is doing this entry in the series a big disservice. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is one of the most misunderstood games ever and it’s just unfortunately gonna stay that way. Following public opinion and sticking with it just makes you look goofy as hell, for the people who dislike this game, they can keep disliking cause it’s obvious that they are just birds Inna flock with no common sense at all.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is one of the best sequels to a series ever, this cast is one of my favorites excluding one character who contributes jack shit but yeah. I could see why people get turned away by the first four chapters cause it’s definitely slow and it has a lot to build on but what JRPG doesn’t have this same problem to let them cook. The antagonist group with Jin and Malos are really just one of my favorite pair of antagonists ever. Getting into the main cast and Rex, Mythra/Pyra, Nia are just my absolute favorites and just hit very hard especially alongside with the other cast members (again sayin excluding one). Xenoblade 2 cast is just beautifully created and how their characters feel so real on talking about how life is and their own ideals and what matters to them. Zeke also being one of my favorite cast members ever in a party group, the way he was introduced and handled throughout the game was just so good. Rex and Jin being foils to each other, mutuals characters dealing with their own inner strife such as Nia on hiding herself for most of the game until she finally is able to come out and be happy alongside Rex who was able to find his reasons to keep going which includes her, Pyra/Mythra and the party, just so much amazing things going on for the characters that’s just beautiful

The finale stretch is amazing as always for a Xenoblade game and reveals huge things especially more information about what exactly happens and also showing a bit of action in what happened before in XC1s plot that’s connected to the current plot. This story being connected with themes of healing your own wounds, getting up from despair, deciding for yourself whether you should keep going or stop on road, caring for others, carrying on for the next generation of people to take over. It definitely means something to me, something about not just adding into making sure we make our own choices for our future continuing on from xc1, but to make sure we rely on the people around us, to stick true to our own selves especially. The world will always get its way and it will fail the people, it will fail us and shit will happen and it could be tough to recover from it, but there’s always the hope and our own will to keep on going, to keep the people around you and to provide each other with comfort, and when that day comes when said person is to pass or it’s you that passes, we pass on ourselves and our important memories to provide for the future and to keep personally to ourselves to remind us. This world is not a pretty one and there’s always gonna be conflict and sadness, but there’s also the good times when we are happy, it’s as simple as Rex says it.

Thank You Xenoblade 2

"I see you smiling there so peacefully
And cheerfully talking at me
These happy days must carry on
So once again, let's go back to the start
This goodbye is not the end
I know until we meet again
Our feelings will remain the same
Together as one, ’til we find ourselves again."
This game just grips you from the start and never let's go at all, there is never a part that drags you and you have to force yourself to keep playing, the pacing is amazing, and the traversal is amazing and very atmospheric as always from Xenoblade games. The music was one of my favorites of all time from every track, just absolute beautiful with the way they use the flute motif. The exploration with the environments and the combat is absolutely perfect with no flaws at all in my opinion. Takahashi masterclass from being able to plan this game and execute it to end this trilogy perfectly. This core cast is one of my favorites and I love how character focused it is throughout the whole game. I love Noah and Mio so much, they have my whole heart and their whole story. The stretch of second half Chapter 5 to Beginning of Chapter 6 is one of the best I've experienced and especially the second half of the game as a whole is one of the best in media.

Still letting it sink in as I'm writing this, this is a very personal and emotional story that deals with a lot mature themes such as how we deal with time and how we ever march towards the end of our fleeting lives slowly, how we make use of this time, dealing with tragedy and how we respond to it after it happens and to not lose ourselves when we are in state of pain. To not be afraid of change and to keep moving forward, don't let the past drag you behind and if you keep failing you just keep on going no matter what, making mistakes is part of being human but staying in one place is not the ideal because we have to keep going forward. Overcoming our own past and the courage to face the future. A very personal story of life. Returning to the title screen after finishing this game was just beautiful. This title screen music of Xenoblade 3 is what represents this story. How life goes on and we go through all ranges of emotions through the events we go through in our life as a journey. How we grow as a person and self discovery, how we grow and overcome events in our life that trouble us and how they shape, and how we enjoy our memories with friends and family with a mix of sad times and happy times. How we have to keep going in life no matter what happens. Those final scenes in the finale chapter really got to me, as this sinks in more and more I get more emotionally and personally attached to this game and those specific moments. Where We Belong is one of the greatest songs ever made especially for one of the final scenes in the game ever.

As a person that has gone through a lot of personal events in my life, I find this story very personal and even as I'm writing this, this game is still sinking in after I have finished it. I'm really glad I was able to get into this franchise.

"Just who decided that this was how it should be?"

“You see? This is our path to the future!"

“This the truth of our world. Memories melt in the morning light, and then a new day begins"

“Roads stretch out before us. So many paths. Which do you choose? That's up to you. Sometimes you might run astray. You’ll stop, maybe cry in frustration. But you know, that's alright. For the roads… they go on without end. So look up, face forward, toward your chosen horizon… And just… walk on.”

Thank You Tetsuya Takahashi for this trilogy.

Being a terrible person is actually one of the most funny shit ever

My first playthrough that took over 200 hours over a span of 16 months because of how much it took for me to get used to this game personally, so it was a very long journey for me but in the end for the second half, it nailed everything I wanted. The only thing I want to get out of the way is that the first half is very tough especially with this combat system I love and hate so I'll get that out of the way and how the traversal feels very stiff like Dark Souls 1 stiff. Nearing the second half of the game though, I'll say the combat gets better with having a lot of flexibility with party members and the pacing is way better. Getting most of my complaints out of the way, let's talk about the good stuff already.

I've seen some other reviews talking about how this is the worst revenge story of all time, and it seems they either didn't finish it or simply media illiterate when that wasn't the whole point of the story at all. One of the best immersive JRPGs ever and you could just feel yourself getting sucked in the world and feel the whole world around you. Not going into spoilers too much but the whole plot setting on where it takes place which is two titans and this is important to the story and contributes to the world and the second half where it really takes off is one of the most awesome shits ever and I'm glad I finished this shit to experience it, just raw as hell. Shulk is one of my favorite characters especially with the way they handled his character overall in this game was just really good and I ended up really loving him with the rest of the cast that is super lovable and comfortable. This game absolutely isn't perfect but not a lot of games can be, but this is definitely for me and too bad for people who dislike this.

I was reluctant at first in the first half and nearing second half where they were going with Shulks character and the story main message but I'm glad the way it went and did what I really love. Seizing our own future, decide for ourselves on what we want to do and not let someone else control our destiny's walking along with other people towards a new tomorrow. That title screen after you finish this game with the main menu music playing is a special moment.

"Today, we use our power to fell a God. And then, Seize our destiny."

My feelings for this game in the series is indescribable and last time I said, it was very difficult for me to put my thoughts together after just finishing the game but now I can talk about it more. It still is very difficult to put all my thoughts together though.

This is such a beautiful game in every aspect of the gameplay, artistic direction and the story and the characters. This game is meant to be played with Lobotomy Corporation knowledge, so it just makes it even better together. Library Of Ruina has so many layers to it, it's so amazingly done well that there are details everywhere which contribute to the story and it helps convey the messages and themes.

We all suffer, and we all live, we go through this thing called life. We can be stripped naked for who we are as people and people see our flaws and we are scared of that, of who we truly are. We have our scars and our own flaws. It's difficult to be able to show this to people and trust him, without knowing how they will react to it and how you will feel. There's no one who can help you move forward; they can help but you have to be the one to take that first step forward and the rest will happen.

The world is a cruel place, its relentless and it can be straight up cold. There are cycles in place which we can get stuck, and no hope is there for us as we believe it and we just quit and get stuck in this restless cycle. We all suffer at some point, but we should know it's not the end all be all for us. We can fight back against it, to rise up against the situation. It won't be immediate but we as people can overcome hopeless situations and get past what the world is trying to force on us and be better than that.

Breaking this cycle of constant revenge and grief, focusing on what's really important such as compassion and empathy for others and more important, for ourselves. This game is one of the most human stories to ever exist, humans struggling to live, through this world of hardship and grief, deciding how to move forward whether we should be stuck to the past and get left behind or move forward despite this world ever turning flow. Trying to break free from this city, to follow our own dreams, where its merciless and there's no light at the end of the tunnel for us. Groveling on our knees of people with higher status than us just to survive, is this truly a way to live our lives where everyone is just constantly filed with anger, sadness and other emotions. Even so, we should have kindness, compassion, empathy for us and other people.

I love these characters and everything, it just hits me personally. I especially love Angela & Roland, they mean everything to me.

The Eye Facing the Fear; Breaking the Cycle

The Eye Embracing the Past; Building the Future

I love this game so much. One of the few games that has me like this to be able to even write this. There are just so many things more to talk about it, but this is just the tip of the iceberg for me. Maybe in the future, I'll add more to this review overtime but for right now, this is good enough for me.

That's this and this is that.

generational type of game, insane writing with so much emotional weight. it's interchangeable with NieR;Replicant and can be played both ways without ruining any type of enjoyment. If you're new to gaming, drop this game and come back to it another time because it follows a unnatural format for a game. The payoff for this game is insane if you follow through with it, so don't ever give up on it. Themes of viewing the world through a different light and many more themes.

if you don't like 9S, keysss.

One of the greatest videogames ever made, the payoff for having gone through the past games in order, having immense love for this series to be already knee deep in this series and playing it with a english injection patch just shows my love for this series.

just absolutely amazing, hajimari is crazy amazing. Being able to beautifully wrap up the Crossbell Arc and Erebonia Arc in one whole game and to go as far and improve on what was done in Trails in the Sky 3rd. Amazing Episodes on mostly anything from slice of life to characters you know and love to show their personality and how life is to deep in-depth characterization for very important characters.

Improving on characters introduced in Crossbell arc even further and even adding more development for Sky characters and not to forget adding more needed characterization for Erebonia introduced characters.
It also introduces two new characters that have their own novel series 3&9 that you can read before or after you start or finish Hajimari. Those characters have become one of my favorites in such a short time they are introduced especially with one character specially introduced in Hajimari. Each experience is different for each person for different media. The best experience for this game is to have finished every game in order leading up to this one.

Mostly every character that has been introduced in Kiseki gets even more screentime and development in this beautiful game. Not to mention the worldbuilding and all the themes present in Kiseki show its worth in Hajimari with how amazing it is. Hajimari themes and being able to execute them through 3 routes leading into one containing the Mutiple main characters in each route and giving them all more character development is just amazing. I love Lloyd, Rean and C so much. The Trio of Main Characters and the way they were implemented to add even more character depth and development were amazing. Hajimari is one of the most beautifully crafted games with a payoff of having played all the games in order and having immense love for this series.

One of the greatest games of all time.

Work of art in video game form. One of the best video games ever made. Hideo Kojima masterclass.

MGS Series is the best tactical stealth game series, nothing touches it. One of the absolutely best with its story and mechanics as well. MGS3 & Hideo Kojima made a statement with this game clearly saying that. Not a single second went by with me thinking that this game is dragging or being slow with its story and felt struggled by game mechanics because it purely depends on how you play this game and how you approach it. The themes of the game it shows and how it narrates it is beautiful, just everything about how Hideo Kojima is able to do this amazing. Honest to God I want to write more but it's just difficult to put anymore words for this game, it's just that good and if you haven't gone through the series, get into it. I waited a long while to be able to play these games and it didn't fail me at all.

"I raised you. I loved you. I've given you weapons, taught you techniques, endowed you with knowledge. There is nothing more for me to give you. All that's left for you to take, is my life, by your own hand. One must die, and one must live. No victory, no defeat. The survivor will carry on the fight."

Fucking Kino
