For gamers who want a challenging fun experience with a good story

I remember loving this game years ago but idk why. the grinding sounds miserable looking back at it but even still, I feel like there's something here.

there are like a dozen submachine games but this one is the one I remember best so I'm just using it to represent the whole series

Don't play this game if you like rhythm games.
You will literally never be able to play another one ever again because they'll all feel pointless and boring compared to this bastion of the genre
