I could not even get through it. I need the running shoes so badly

It was fine but really did nothing new. The double gear system was cool and a step in the right direction but this is the third nostalgiabait mega man game in a row. I think we can start trying to innovate again.

Worst of the trilogy. Oddly enough, what bothered me most were the load times, waiting for doors to open after you shot them. I actually appreciated the end game secrets system, showing you the secrets on the map. I also enjoyed all of the new characters introduced. There were definitely some shoehorned in motion mechanics but the aiming was great. Still a good game in spite of its flaws.

Unironically could be the best mario party game. Awesome story mode, and memorable boards.

Still good, but vastly overrated. Worst story in the series (I dare you to give me the name of the new boss of team rocket. you can't.), awful encounter tables on each route, horrible gym teams with bad variety, the worst champion in the series, most new pokemon were locked behind the postgame, bad level curve, the list goes on. It's not the worst game in the series and has its highs (furret my beloved) but there is so much to dislike whenever I come back to this game.

2018

I bought and played this as a kid, and even back then I knew how boring it was.

Introduced some very cool concepts but overall failed to keep my interest nearly as well as the main trilogy.

Not nearly enough new content. Still a good base game, but the fact that we had to pay extra for an actual good story mode? And the fact that salmon run was restricted to certain times for seemingly no reason?

HATE IT. I will never take Nintendo seriously when they make supposedly newcomer-friendly "accessible" titles that force one-handed motion controls onto the player. The fact that there's no way to just play with regular controls is awful. They somehow made the already bad story of Kanto even worse. The battles are absolutely brainless, with the CHAMPION not even having full movesets on his pokemon. The only good things about this game are catch combos, shiny hunting, and rideable pokemon. This game will forever be a stain on pokemon.

Such a lovely title with a surprising amount of content on its bones! Too bad I suck at both modes. The competitive scene looks interesting, from an outside perspective.

As far as pack-in titles go, this one is amazingly high quality. And it's one of the only remaining worthwhile wii u exclusive experiences left.

I don't care for its linearity, ugly character models and textures, tears of light sections, and annoying epona controls. But you can't deny that its dungeons are the cream of the crop.

This is one of the funniest games I've ever played. The gameplay? Whatever.

Given the flawed base it had to work with, this game did an excellent job at making it actually fun to play. It's incredibly short but I actually really like that about it
