This made me SO GLAD that most switch games don’t care about the touchscreen

This is very hard because TOTK is a better game than Breath of the Wild under every aspect but I still prefer BOTW over this game.
That's because I loved the sense of wonder BOTW gave me also tied with a main story that had a melancholic mood about rising again which I really liked.

TOTK? Meh didn't hit as hard when it comes to how I felt while playing it. Maybe it's because I had already played BOTW twice, so I knew what to expect? idk.

The game made exploring useless because I could just auto-build a lazy way up.
Exactly in the same way there were many times where doing shrines felt like cheating because this game is so deliberate in giving you as many ways as possible to solve problems, that often they're way too easy, making me bored.
This made me feel less engaged with the game but it’s true that making weird contraptions in TOTK was fun.

Still TOTK is much better in every single way: abilities, stuff all around the map, balancing of enemies and weapons, sky islands(, useless empty depths).
What I hate the most about is that it feels much more linear and that goes against everything that made BOTW great to me.
It's still a 10. Maybe 9½?

To me it’s like this is mostly another take on the same concept but with the sense of wonder and exploration replaced with tinkering.

(Having the horse music playing every time you climb a horse made it feel less magic and I hate that because I love that piano)

Very cool, I loved it when it gave me eureka moments, I wish investigating was more engaging.
