Basically the very best of Bloodborne in a small package, really good and highly recommended.

As the first full 3D Kirby, I think it makes a really solid foundation for the next games.

It has some things here and there tho, like all the weapons got nerfed and aren't as funny to use as previous titles until late game.

The Waddle Dee missions were a really cool idea but I felt it wasn't implemented in the best way, some misions are so arbitrary, literally, you need to beat each level multiple times to get all Waddle Dee most of the time, also I think it should have been way better if the games reveals you all the remaining missions when you beat a level once instead of only one.

I think those things are my biggest complaints other than that, really good game, phenomenal landscapes, I loved the setting of the game, good soundtrack, and the slow-mo mechanic was a really-really good addition.

After playing Elden Ring and then this, I think I just finally realized I'm just not a really big fan of the gameplay of this kind of games... I liked BB, but I didn't really fall in love with it tbh.

What I really love about this kind of games is the world, setting, designs, and the story :D and BB definitely wasn't the exception regarding this.

Saying this, I have to say I found the story of the game really fascinating and unique, it touches themes I have never seen a game touch before, or at least in such a good way as Bloodborne does, and a reason why it will be in a very special place for me : ]

As my first Soulsborne game, I wasn't really liking this game at the beginning like at all, I thought about dropping it countless times, I thought maybe this kind of games isn't really for me? but I always stick to it, I dunno why lol

Long story short, I started to like it little by little, and then it finally happened, suddenly I had 100h in this game and I never realize it because I was enjoying it so much lol

Wow, what a journey, I have so many good things to say but I feel like most of them have been already said so I will be quick, phenomenal settings, enemies designs, the game is so freaking immersive, it has really epic and memorable moments regarding the story and most of them without any cutscenes!

FromSoft literally reminded me it is still possible to make really good and epic moments without any cutscenes or anything like that, like in the old times.

I think my only complaint and I think it must be kinda common, but it recycles too many bosses, I mean I can get why but I felt sometimes is way too much, also Godskin Duo (probably the most infamous boss in the game) feels so freaking cheap... lol

Conclusion
Really awesome game, I really like it, but definitively isn't for everyone, if you already like this kind of games or you weren't really liking it and you manage finally got the taste (like me), you will find a really memorable experience and a reminder of why I love gaming so much.

The way Cory and his team managed to reinvent a franchise of this caliber and how turned out quite well for them is exceptional, something that doesn't happen really often, especially when nobody believed in his idea and how they took a lot of risks.

Anyways, excellent game and one of the best from the 8th gen, the last decade and from all times tbh.

One of the best plots this industry has to offer, exceptional writing, characters and soundtrack.

Unfortunately, the game sometimes tries to be more realistic than it should and makes some things more tedious than they should be, putting that aside still a masterpiece for me.

I don't think I've ever played a game like this, they achieved something quite special.

The first route you play is going to be very influential since that is how you are going to interpret the story and it is probably going to be the characters and the ideal that you have the most affection for.

Each route has its weight and I strongly recommend playing them all, don't get stuck with just one.

Each faction has its point of view and each route has its pros and cons to be considered canon or not, really at the end of the day the game doesn't really have antagonists (with a few exceptions) or a canon route, it all depends on the perspective and what is the ideal you want to follow.

The story has really epic moments and many others that are going to make you feel countless emotions, and it intensifies more with each new route you do since you are going to know all the background of the characters from other routes.

This new entry also adds a new free roam mode where you can walk and interact with other characters in the school, to be honest, is cool at the beginning, and talking with each character in the school is always cool but regarding the activities, there's not that much to do, and the few activities that are available don't really matter that much, so at the end of the day, you will just probably just go talk and skip most activities because they're just there to get a few goodies and to make the game longer, they get kinda monotone and boring.

The soundtrack has really memorable songs and in summary it is good, the weakest area of the game is definitively the graphics, many low-quality textures, and many scenarios that do not look that good, the character models are probably one of the few only things that it looks really good in terms of visuals along with the cutscenes.

Leaving that aside strongly recommended title!

My first route was Crimson Flower (Edelgard's Route)

And I did each one in the following order:
-
Crimson Flower (Edelgard) > Silver Snow (Church) > Azure Moon (Dimitri) > Verdant Wind (Claude)
-
