i like the design choices and pio (i think thats her name?) is cute. its fun at the beginning but the progression quickly turns into pure RNG hell, so playing this for more than a few hours is not really worth it

awesome concepts and gameplay overall, i love the aesthetics and vibes, and its so satisfying dashing and jumping across rooftops and through office buildings. it takes a bit of time to get the movement down but once you do its real nice, and i can appreciate how realistic it feels. the story is just ok, there were occasional parts where i had no clue how to move forward, and sometimes dealing with gunfights could be janky or frustrating. but otherwise, its solid

the most engaging idle game ive ever played, has many different subsystems and a lot of goals to work towards. continuously unlocking new features keeps the game fresh, and the challenge of what to prioritize at any given moment makes decision making feel impactful and engaging unlike in any other idler ive played. very creative, funny, and charming. loses a small amount of points though for certain minor things and quality of life improvements, ie i dont think the gear filter should be an unlock but should be available from the start, and that i think the adventure zones could benefit a lot from having more variety in how you approach them, because theyre really just the same process over and over. i could probably nitpick several other things that i felt were lacking if i reinstalled, but this is a great idle game nonetheless

i like the writing and design just fine but this game is so incredibly easy and is just a power trip. within the first hour or two you gain superhuman mobility and can jump over buildings and even on the hardest difficulty i found every fight within the first 10 ish hours to be baby easy. maybe it gets more interesting later but i find that hard to believe when you become super OP at the beginning

i like the writing and characters just fine because, well, ive liked the sonic series since i was a kid, but the minigame aspect was so unfun i gotta deduct a star

pretty good gameplay and exploration but the story and some of the situations you get yourself in are so unbelievably cheesy that it could break the immersion

ok, im gonna be that guy. i prefer this game to outlast 1. the setting is scarier, the environments have greater variety, and in general its just a freakier game that makes for a more compelling horror experience. some of the setpieces are burned into my memory for how creepy they are. yeah i dont much care for the side storyline with the priest much but that's about the only thing i don't like. i understand not liking how disturbing certain things can be but for me it only added to the horror aspect.

writing/dialogue is very funny and engaging. the movement and gameplay is pretty alright, and i appreciate the ability to put different weapons in each hand which allows for some experimentation in how you play. however, the one thing really holding this game back for me is the inability to change the difficulty after you start playing. i picked hard at the start because im generally competent with these kinds of games, and the game started off easy but progressively got harder until the enemies and bosses were getting frustrating. i wanted to switch to a lower difficulty but couldnt without starting a new game and didnt feel like replaying the several hours i had already put in. a good game but with one fatal flaw... i dont think it warns you about it when you pick a difficulty but hopefully they will change that. will pick up again at a later point to replay on normal.

awesome gameplay. traversing and fighting your way through the nightmarish setpieces is super cool and enjoyable. every weapon you get has its purpose and i found myself using all of them, which i can appreciate a lot as it adds variety. my big criticism is that the story is just okay, the characters are uninteresting, and the dialogue/writing is quite frankly bad. the characters' reactions are so tame compared to the dire situations they're in, and rarely do they emote with any intensity. their lives are constantly in danger but they sure don't act like it. the gameplay and environments are genuinely great enough to warrant 4 stars.

11 has the best platforming and bosses in the entire series. also has a great artstyle and some really interesting, but impractical, weapons. the speed gear is my favorite mechanic in the entire series, its very satisfying to use it to dodge and weave especially in boss fights. the music didn't really stand out though and some stages are definitely too long, otherwise id probably give this 5 stars

i really like a lot of the characters and the gameplay this game is going for, but after 200ish hours ive realized that the fun does not always outweigh how god damn annoying some of the characters can be

the charge shot is a game changer and adds a good level of depth to the gameplay. love the robot masters as well and this game has some of the best music in the series right alongside 2, 9, and 10. great level design as always

such an incredible platformer, has some of my favorite level designs in any video game. collecting and utilizing the various gadgets you get gives the game a great sense of progression and its so satisfying to use them to discover and traverse new areas. also the music is unforgettable. truly a bangin masterpiece on the ps1

the music and stage design slaps, not quite at the peak of classic series (2, 9, and 10 have the best) but still very good. the ability to slide is a great addition and the boss fights are very fun, moreso than both of the previous games

way better level design and difficulty than 1. the robot masters are iconic, it has some super banging music, and the weapons are overall an improvement in usability and variety. truly a classic and one of the downright coolest mega man games
