I think they quite literally improved on everything that went wrong in the first. Although the first game's story was better (in my opinion), every aspect of gameplay was improved in this one. The only thing that stopped this game from becoming what it could've been was the horrible optimization at launch. Otherwise, fantastic

Extremely amazing game for the time it came out

This review was written before the game released

It's a shame because I really, really enjoyed this game at launch, and then-nothing happened

Considering the genre, the time period, and what Bethesda accomplished, this is near perfect

Just finished this recently-the story is really, really special and now holds a very big place in my heart. Unfortunately the ending was a bit lackluster-it made sense-but there were some unanswered questions I wish I knew the answer to. It's a short game, but for what it did, truly amazing.

Had so much potential, and then it disappointed. The missions were bland and repetitive, the open world looked nice but was really small, and the character classes essentially made no caracter unique

Very excellent game, letting you do whatever you want to do. Not much else to say

The DLC is some if the best in gaming-this truly makes you feel like you'll never run out of stuff to do

Favorite TES game. It's extremely well written and well crafted

I love this game with a burning passion. I would say more, but this would turn into an essay

I haven't played many tomb raider games, but the story, stealth, and overall gameplay are just a few great aspects about this game. Kind of went a little off its rocker at the end, though

I get the bugs make this game what it is, but it can almost become unbearable at times. The 3rd does this much better

The DLC of this game is definitely my favorite of all time. The best part is that they wrapped it all into one-godmaster, grimm troupe, everything. 112 percenting this game this game was an amazing experience

All but improved on its predecessors. Lots of great improvements, but didn't really understand the in-game purchases
