as much as i like the dd64, there is no reason to play this version over the gamecube release. encountered a lot of bugs with the villager AI which made it not really viable to 100% complete like I usually like to. Play the gamecube one in full, fiddle around with this one if you really like the gamecube version, but beating the dd64 version is ill advised by ME!!!!!!!!

100%ed -- i actually don't like this as much as I did when I was younger, like it's good but not the best imo. also some of this game is unplayable unless you have the correct ds to use because of how the microphone works on 3ds xl which is interesting, for that reason not as good as the original imo.
100%ed the living dex and took me about 2 full years, 100%ed xd, colosseum, and had to use sapphire, leafgreen and fire red as well -- didn't catch mythicals obviously but everything else was done without cheats - as a kid i always thought people who preferred gen 3 were odd and i still have a weird perception of it but after putting in as many hours as i have i do appreciate how these games are polished in an oddly unpolished way, like e reader implementation and stuff like that idk i cant put it into words, a solid game for sure but I do think it's crazy that you have to play 5 games and own a minimum of 3 consoles to get everything in these games but oddly thats part of the charm for me
this game is like colosseum but worse which i didnt think was possible

holy mackaroni i started playing this when i got very very ill with covid and it made the experience even better trying to play this with a 104 fever in a complete and utter haze, it started to bleed into my dreams too. i tried to map this out by myself without using a guide and ended up writing 84 pages of notes. this is for release 0.9 that I am marking that I "completed" it, even with the amount of exploration I did, I am sure I missed areas because there is just so much to see! i typically don't like mario 64 but the amount of work and atmosphere the creators put in is incredible - huge fan of your work (the game and otherwise) and just cant speak highly enough about this
the sights of hell bring its viewers back in...

pikmin 2 is always gonna be my favorite for nostalgic reasons but objectively I can say this is the best game for newcomers and for people who played the first game all the way back on gamecube when it was brand new like i did

130 emblems - didnt do the missions - i feel you can make an argument for sa2b being fun but absolutely not this one, the big the cat stages people whine about are honestly fine -- what isnt is the camera and the collision on the sonic stages holy SHIT

100%ed - very charming and not as hard as people say it is, the only shine i think is BS is the secret of the village underside, the pachinko level and lilypad level aren't bad - the blue coins are though if you dont have a guide

100%ed - I have to be honest this game was not fun, but also not challenging either, runs like molasses and I would chop my arms off if I could turn off the animations

100%ed - love it of course but some of the physics and level design were a bit irritating for 100% completion - way too easy to knock a named character u spent 17 mins to get off of ur katamari then they immediately despawn - also very easy to get into a hallway where you just barely fit and the collision cheesegrates your katamari to nothing - names section is very interesting to me and something i somehow missed when i played this as a kid!!!!! reroll I am sure fixed the issues i had but i chose to 100% this version, i dont think ill revisit this one when we love katamari exists

100%ed catalog 2/12/23 - E+ is always better but highly highly recommend revisiting the american localization too

completing the catalog for this game was really fun and I spent the most time on this one as a kid perhaps the best katamari if you were to ask me........
nostalgia goggles on as a kid i liked the sprites a lot more in this version but nowadays i think theyre a downgrade from red/blue
