Notes before I forget:
PROS
— Got to the credits and saw OKITSU AND OKIAYU AS SEIYUU???? I died
— I loved alllll the male characters here?! They were all husband material… Just sayin’…
— There were some bops alright
— Really enjoyed the atmosphere of the castle. It didn’t really feel like what Drac’s Castle usually feels like? It’s weird… I like Demonology Castlevania haha
— Gebel 🤍🤍🤍 OD 🖤🖤🖤 even Johannes 💚
— I actually did like the shard system please don’t kill me

CONS
— I hate how they had Erica Lindbeck pretend she’s British, all I can hear is Celica trying to sound fancier
— Honestly, I loved all the refs but… No amount of references can make a game enjoyable… I enjoyed the game but it could have been so much more
— On that same note, PLEASE pick the tone you wanna have. Like it’s okay to have comic relief every now and then but I mean it in the “Patreon backers as enemy portraits and also in the credits with names like ‘my best waifu <3’” ugh
—Every time Miriam went to buy something at the shop I couldn’t help but whistle out Yellow by Coldplay because THAT’S LITERALLY WHAT THOSE FIRST NOTES SOUND LIKE who approved of that
— The sidequests get sooooo tiresome after a while. I only enjoyed helping Abigail with the dead but the guy who constantly got lost and the lady who couldn’t stop fucking eating were exhausting
— The character designs were great! Except for Dominique and Miriam lol so obviously fanservice-y. Why is this nun running around in tights?! And Miriam needs some pants bro. Ugh
— THOSE WERE SOME ATROCIOUS SHARD DROPS, IGARASHI!!!!

That was a good twist… But I’m sad :(
