Moving around and combining moves together is still great to this day. Although some aspects are outdated and Mario controls like shit in small spaces.

Every board is either too boring, or flat out awful. Usually when a mario party game has bad boards the minigames pick up the slack. That being said, MP1 easily has the worst minigames in the series.

Despite all of this... I love the chaos this game creates and would gladly play it anytime LOL

Brawl has the best single player content in the series, but falls flat when it comes to the actual FIGHTING part. Still fun though...

Very bare bones, but still a blast to play.

After getting used to the games controls, it is the most free flowing and fun game in the series.
