Not much to say that hasn't already been said! Stellar combination of story telling and gameplay. There's not much player agency here to affect the story, but the way you "discover" the path forward makes it very satisfying and should serve as a lesson for other developers that tend to throw their plot on rails and balance it with a bunch of dots on a map.

I love the themes, the story, and I thought the gameplay was a$$. Kept me going though - even when the final act dragged.

Fantastic execution. Deceptively crunchy mechanics for an ad lib choose your own adventure game.

Frantic energy in a rogue lite, think binding of isaac or enter the gungeon. I love the roaming boss battles and the level design. The weapons are just silly in the best way.

Disappointing adaptation of my favorite board game.

A phasmophobia derivative but damn good at it and has some really fresh ideas with a fun environment to explore.

Look. I hate to say this but this one is actually a bit too difficult. Love everything else about it.

Fairly clunky adaptation of a good board game. Steam deck does not control well on it.

Daniel Mullins is one of the best indie devs around and this is a tour de force of WEIRD. Love it, and kaycee's mod makes the best part of the game infinitely replayable.

My weekly pick up game - lots to love if you're a fan of the genre with challenge game modes, weekly objectives, and constant updates to mechanics and graphic fidelity. Actual labor of love by the developer - they caught lightning in a bottle and have done something special with it that has stirred a bunch of copies like Forewarned (also good!)
