warframe is a great game when it's at its best.

the issue is the grind that lies beneath the surface is some of the most tedious and mind numbing shit i've ever dealt with.
unfortunately, i can't dedicate that type of time to a single game without going insane so this game is off the table.

finally, Rebirth is a game worthy of being a real sequel to the original.

the fixes to item synergies ALONE make that the case, but the new endgame content is fantastic as well.

WotL is one of the peaks of the series, arguably the previous peak before Repentance.

flash isaac was just at its best here, godlike game i put way too many hours into.

not as terrible of a game as everyone makes it out to be, but it's definitely not a good sequel.

got bored really fast, doesn't feel as interesting to play as earlier entries

this entry of guilty gear has justice, the future titles do not.

i rest my case.

2020

noita is a very special game.

it takes the physics based interactivity of the numerous 'falling sand' web games and combines it with a roguelike dungeon crawler.

it really feels like anything can happen, you will die a lot from a myriad of different accidents.

the best freelance hacker simulator to exist. granted, there aren't many, but this is still the best.

eventually you do run out of things to do, and there's not enough to play more than a couple of times to complete the two story lines and just hacking things for your own enjoyment.

i wish this game had the potential to be more like uplink where the story was moreso optional, but the story really is all there is to do here.

it plays great, and the story is fine enough. just feels like it would benefit from either being more linear feeling or really being open.

leans a lot heavier into the story aspect, and succeeds.

pointless skill tree+bland open world=disappointment

mirror's edge would have benefited from having a proper SEQUEL that built on the base game.

instead EA/DICE took almost 10 years to shit out a reboot that only resembles the original game on the surface.

how can one man make two rage inducing viral hits a decade apart from one another?

i have no idea, but i like climbing the mountain to hear more of what he has to say to me

'The Impossible Game' but for kids with adhd

i was oddly into this a a kid, not a bad game to revisit from time to time.

the measuring stick for player choice and freedom.

game of the millennium.
