falls ever so short of matching aria's greatness, but it's still a super great game nonetheless

rush adaptors are jank and not the good jank

best ost of the first 6, and the best wily section of the first 6 as well. only thing keeping it from being THE nes mega man game is a few kinda snoozer robot master stages (looking at you crystal and stone man)

absurdly high-quality for a fan-game; robot master designs are fantastic, and the music would be top-tier if this was an official game. stages are cool as fuck, although the difficulty is a little too much. like a lotta too much

getting to play the game as robot masters is so fucking cool why dont they do more remakes like this

fucking nailed it. great stage design, great replayability, characters all are fun as fuck to play, each composer getting a robot master to composer for is actually genius, god this games is ridiculously good

shit my pants when this was first revealed, but now that mm10 is out it is definitely more "retro-pandering" than feeling like a proper "retro-style" game like 10 and that kinda takes away from it a bit. still kino tho

annoying stages, cossack is a bit too gimmicky, but the weapons are cool

select button is a blessing

really fun but suffers from gacha game stop-playing-and-fall-too-far-behind syndrome

honorary main series game, they really pinpointed the imperfections in colosseum and blasted them to bits

post-game gateway colosseum bumps the score up a whole star
