strongest ending of the series besides yakuza 0
individual parts are good, as a whole they're a little messy
shinada's story and combat is noticeably the weakest
sidestories were super fun for all characters

all the new characters are interesting in their own ways
i enjoyed having the story broken up into parts, i think it helped with the pacing
combat is fun with each character having a unique style
story is good, i liked how everything pieced together

generally worse than its predecessors in every way
combat is clunkier and the minigames aren't very fun
i liked the morning glory/okinawa story parts a lot
but the rest of it is pretty messy, a lot of the plot twists make no sense
