I'm not really into Souls-like type of games or any game that involves controlling the camera movement as I get dizzy. But had to try it because it looked great so this ended up being my first game that is in that genre. Well, all I can say is thank goodness you can adjust the game difficulty mid-game because I could not continue in normal mode anymore after dealing with the second to last boss as it was way too hard for me or I got fed up at that point. Game is visually great and there were many cool moments when fighting and wonderful cut scenes, but I often get frustrated with the game as the controls were just awkward for me. No matter what I do, whether I re-assign the keys or switch between PS4 controller or play keyboard/mouse, it didn't make much of a difference as it just felt odd no matter what, the controls just seemed inefficient and ruined my overall experience with the game.

I really enjoyed the previous game so got this too. There is a huge improvement with the controls in this game. I also really like how you can play other characters aside from the main 3, which is probably the main highlight of this game as it is fun to play with different abilities. Like the previous game, this is a grind-heavy game and I am not sure what is the max level or if there is even a level cap but I have grinded enough to have the zombie/enemy level to be over 1k... o.O

SPOILER: All the characters from previous game are playable/have magical form, except Bea's parents. You unlock most of the characters through the dungeon crawling part of the main story. Am a little sad that her parents didn't get magical forms too or at least be playable somehow... would have been awesome. I really wanted magical mom and dad and the game would have been 5 stars. xD;;;

Love the art and the story/plot too as it has my kind of humor and also the game is affordable. But unfortunately, this game has some issues, such as awkward control/gameplay. It took me a long time to realize I can switch characters, and even after learning of that, if you accidentally move the current active character you can't switch to a different character anymore. This game can also be hard with the RNG, but it shouldn't be too much of a problem if you grind enough to max the friendships and max all the girl's training. Because of the awkward control/gameplay, I had a lot of doubts, but after putting more time and effort, the game was not impossible to play as I was able to complete and enjoy it in the end. Am looking forward to the 2nd game. ^_^

Am a fan of the Final Fantasy Tactics series. I started off with the advance series a long time ago and loved them. This game was recommended to me by a friend a long time ago, but I never got to play it until recently via iOS and Android. The game itself is great as I love the story and setting, a more serious and mature tone. What I love is that there is also no judge or penalty/law system like in the advance series. The only issue I had is that playing on mobile, either iOS or Android is a bit difficult and awkward due to touch controls. Takes a while to get used to. Despite the awkward control of playing on mobile, I love this game.

This game is a game of side-quests/errands that help you develop the town. I enjoyed the game for what it is as it is very simple and easy to play and complete. It isn't meant to be a masterpiece, it is suppose to be complementary content to the main game (Hundred Heroes) that will be coming soon. I really like the characters and am curious about the world of Eiyuden Chronicle after playing this so am looking forward for the release of the main game.

I actually enjoyed this game a lot. A side-scrolling platformer where you navigate kinda like a metroidvania, has turn-based combat, and you collect monsters kind of like pokemon. I had the most fun building my monster's skills. It's great to be able to reset skills so you can experiment with your builds and see what works best.

Not a game I usually play, but I've seen so much good reviews. After playing it, I understand now. Great story, and very relatable moments. A good short story-driven game to be in your feelings.

I really enjoyed this game as it is going in the right direction for the series. It is fun to explore the world riding on Koraidon/Miraidon (For Violet players) and also participating in the academy classes. I especially love many of the new NPC characters as they were all very interesting in their own way. I would have given a higher rating if the game wasn't so glitchy and if they bring back multi-battles like doubles and triples as it felt odd battling one pokemon at a time in such an open world...

I like the Scott Pilgrim series and the game looks great, but I hate beat ‘em up type games… they are not fun to me as the movement and play always feel clunky or awkward and eventually things get repetitive very quickly. When I first got the game years ago, I gave up as it seemed unplayable, but I wanted to give it another chance after watching the new anime today. Unfortunately, after playing again, I find that this game is no different than any other beat ‘em up games. It’s not making me like these type of games… I play on normal difficulty and am already struggling as the enemies tend to move way faster, have bigger attack range, and they spam attacks when I am locked in place so I can’t do anything. My hand/fingers simply cannot handle these type of games… it’s simply not fun… I tried.

Update: I didn’t want to leave the game unfinished… so I looked up guides as the game itself doesn’t really have any explanation. I was able to beat the game, after learning I can upgrade stats permanently with certain items that can be bought in shops… it made the game bearable to play as the entire time I’ve been doing very little damage and taking so much dmg when I played normally without that knowledge… unfortunately the game wasn’t fun still as there were still many parts even with max stats and level I had frustration with… I was just able to beat it… finally.

I wanted to like this game as I actually enjoyed it when I can play it. Unfortunately, the game is very buggy as the character often gets stuck or the game freezes and I have to keep resetting to get back in the game. It’s just too hard to keep playing when these things happen way too frequently with the glitches…

This game is wonderful, even after taking a break from it for a month, I was able to easily get back into it. I am just a casual gamer as I have a busy life and I like how this game is enjoyable but also can be challenging... just enough to keep you hooked/addicted. It has easily become one of my favorites.

I enjoyed this game when I first played it, but had to stop in the middle as I got busy with life. It has been a long time since I last played, probably almost a year, and I had just gotten back to playing this as I write this review. I basically forgot everything and find the game unplayable as I can't just simply get back into it. I was able to complete the 3 trials as that was where I left off, but after that I don't know where I need to go next... also because I have not played so long and the game play is so unique (especially the movement mechanic), my instincts keep back-firing on me which further adds to the unplayable experience. It saddens me as I really like the art and the game looks so interesting and is unique, which is one reason why I got it in the first place but... as a casual player with a very busy life, I cannot get into this game as it isn't enjoyable, so I have to abandon it...

I did enjoy this game in certain moments as it did have some good areas that gave some challenge in the story mode and also it can be fun to play as other characters. But my biggest issue with this game is that the graphics was a bit too much... It was unnecessary for a Bomberman game to have so much texture and ambient lighting and shading in the environment. It was too distracting and also made the character blend into the environment too much so it's hard to see my character. I do however like how it is an homage to Super Bomberman 3 (One of my favorite Super Bomberman games) as the 5 Dastardly Bombers and Buggler are back... But the game is far from perfect... Certain boss fights can be tedious/not fun, and also there isn't much settings options as the game is very limiting in that area too... was hoping to turn off the shadows/textures but I can't as there was no option to do that! This game would have gotten a more higher rating... if the graphics were more appropriate for the game or at least they gave us the option to change the graphical settings as there are many moments it was hard to play because I had difficulty seeing where the heck my character was. It honestly felt like they were trying too hard with the game visually... Like they were over compensating for something. :/

Thankfully the graphical issue in story mode isn't really a issue in the battle modes... Battle mode had a much more clearer look in comparison to story... Still unnecessary to have so much texture in the environment though... ^^;

This game is for the most part enjoyable in the beginning due to its interesting game mechanic of playing multiple characters and utilizing different elements. The story is great and engaging and this game has sooo much lore, but can be a drag at times as this is still a mobile game... there are times when the dialogue is too long and they could have made it shorter as the game feels more like a full console or PC game... The graphics is amazing as the characters and environment is beautiful. However, the game does get repetitive and boring at a certain point. The highlight of the game for me personally is the Archon Quests as it is the main story quest and the story is fascinating. New characters to pull for are great too but I am not really into that... Which explains why I gave this a very middle/neutral rating. In the end, this is a gacha game... the highlight for most people are the character pulls so the focus is on new characters being released or old favorites coming back. Thankfully, you can play the game without spending any money if you know what you are doing. The free characters are decent and can get you quite far in the game. The issue is that the game can be a bit of a grind when developing your characters as resources are limited when you are just starting out. You need a lot of materials to upgrade your characters such as their level, ascension level, talent level, artifacts, & weapons. It's a lot...

Overall, great game as this game is eye candy in many ways and has solid gameplay. But I can't give it a high rating due to it being a gacha mobile game... It would be cool if they can somehow make a standalone full game version without the gacha aspect and adding quality of life features like skipping dialogue/cutscenes when the story is complete in the future... A lot of times the game don't feel like a mobile game as I see the effort they put into the story and world-building... It would be a shame to see this game eventually disappear if they can't keep the servers running...

I've been looking for a good hidden object game for a long time and this is it. A good "head-empty" kind of game to play. Wonderful art/graphics and the expected cheesy story as that is the standard for hidden object games, haha.

Because this is a mobile game, it does have micro-transactions and ads to keep it running, but you don't have to pay to play. This game is free to play, but you'll have to tolerate the ads.

The most interesting thing about this game is that you can play with others in the form of "clubs" which is basically your team or it's like being in a guild. There are exclusive club activities such as competitions and club mysteries events. They can be fun but you may feel pressured to use the diamonds which are valuable in-game currency that can be bought with real money. You can earn diamonds without buying them btw... sometimes you can find them from just playing normally but it isn't a lot so I recommend saving/stockpiling them when you do need to use them... Especially when you are in a club as a lot of times having diamonds really help in clubs as club activity can be demanding...

If you want a chill, non-competitive and no-pressure experience, don't join a club. But you will miss out on prizes such as new avatar portraits, drinks, trophies, and gold bars which are used to upgrade main estate architectures to gold aesthetic... Truth is, you don't really need those, they are all aesthetic things. But do join if you are competitive and want to get a trophy to display on your estate to show off and potentially socialize with fellow club members. :)

Update as of Oct 11, 2023: Had to give lower rating as the game is getting more aggressive with microtransactions… Now it looks like they are pushing this new ticket system that replaces the ads option… and these tickets cost actual money! You get 10 free tickets to start… but I don’t think you can earn the tickets free in the game as I have yet to receive any new tickets through normal play. It’s a shame as I do like this game… and I have spent some money on it too before these changes… I will continue to play this game as it is one of my comfort games but am keeping an eye on any changes…
