the only way you could ever get me to say sonic & all-stars racing transformed is a bad game

i didnt pay attention to the story i just liked the swinging around parts :)

I finally got around to beating this because of the new spider-verse movie. It's mostly just your average beat-em-up platformer from the 2000's. You can get through most of it just by mashing the two combat buttons but I found it decent enough.

Where the game actually shines is the writing and voice acting. This is basically just hours on hours of two of the greatest spider-man voice actors being snarky at each other and it is glorious. am I entirely biased because of this? yes. i don't care.

she's just like me (insane , god complex , doesn't go outside)

breath of the wild for xbox 360

this game was really fun for the first 5 hours and then the rest of the game was like the first 5 hours but again so i didnt like it as much

this sonic game made me want to kill myself less than the sonic games that came before it so i guess it's 'good'

legend of zelda tears of the kingdom dares to ask the bold question of 'what if gmod was on the nintendo switch'

surprisingly it does not run very well

post-actually beating the game review: it's breath of the wild dlc but $70. it's fun to mess around with the gmod stuff until you go play gmod and have more fun and then realise all the shrines and temples are either borrowed from or worse than the first one. i like the goat milf in the playboy bunny outfit.

overall 10/10 game of the year again see you in 6 years when they add a 4th map that's the same as the main one

Kirby Star Allies is the definition of a monkey's paw game. It's easily the weakest of the Kirby games using the Return to Dreamland gameplay style, with the blame for this mostly going to the incredibly bogged down level design and mechanics that do nothing but automate the game for you. Whether it was due to a lack of time or just wanting to make the game easier for the new Switch audience, it's a real shame because it's not hard to see how this could've been a better game - Planet Robobot came out just 2 years prior and comes very close to being a perfect Kirby game for me.

Star Allies does have some very nice fanservice - bringing back the idea of playing as enemies like in Super Star as well as ability mixing from Kirby 64 (albeit not executed nearly as creatively), as well as the usual Kirby extra content like additional side modes with new level design and minigames. It's just unfortunate that most of this side content requires you to slog your way through the boring main story first.

If you're looking for a Kirby game to play with a kid or family that aren't familiar with the series, I'd probably go with this one. Otherwise there's not much here for anyone besides hardcore Kirby fans.

if i ever say i like a video game more than this one i have been kidnapped and someone is trying to impersonate me

I really appreciate the developers inspiration from the Sonic the Hedgehog series here. The main character never shuts up, the gameplay is extremely basic, and as their own unique twist, instead of going fast you go extremely extremely slow and are constantly stopped in your tracks.

cool platformer for half of the game, literal torture for the other half

im never getting those 7500 hours back am i
