A very safe remake, because of this, is not a bad game (it's literally Rance II but with a more modern artstyle) but ins't a good remake either
A great homage to the western genre, very fun to read and the three protagonists are interesting in their own, i wish this get translated someday, i'm certain this will be very popular in the west when translated
Don't belive in the Yakuza Fanbase, this game is awsome, i really like this game very much. And it's end the Yakuza franchise well, besides being a game not so good as his predecessor, having a gameplay not good as other titles ( Yakuza 2 og and Yakuza 5 for a exemple), it's a very good game.

This review only cover the first part of rance X, i still need to finish part 2
Rance X is the finale of the rance series, it's in the title, and what final... This game is a very especific case that you overhyped something and it really is what you expected, maybe my overexpectation have some impact in my enjoyment tbh but i'am in none hypothese saying that don't have attend, it's a very strange feeling i can't explain.
I don't think this is the "fiction ender" that some persons talk, maybe it's change in part 2 (i'am really enjoying) but at this time, this is my conclusion.
Now i have finished part 2 and i will kill myself

Good game, the tv series atmosphere is very unique of this game, maybe the combat would be better but overall is a good game

In a Long way, it's the best remake a ever see, everthing is improve from the original Rance III, some characters have a full grow (like Aizel), everthing in this game is good.
A fun gameplay, awsome soundtrack and a very rich story, nothing i say can be good enough to praise this game, it's not even my favorite rance (which is quest) but it's a experience i fully recomended, even without the story this game is good so even if you don't know japanese it will be a very good experience.

Story wise it's one of my favorite, this is so fucking good, they have to manage to make the invasion of Helman Arc of Kichikuou Rance even better, and it's one of the best arcs of Kichikuou Rance. But, the gameplay is kinda... meh, it's not bad but Mamatoto who is one of the inspirations of this game have a better gameplay and it's more fun. Otherwise, a very good game and i wish more people i talk play this.
