the game you played when you didn't have a computer that was good enough to run Minecraft or Terraria back in the day

I wanted this collection so bad when I was a young kid and I was absolutely over the moon when I finally got a copy. This was the collection that introduced me to my favorite game ever for the first time. I watched the retrospective mini movie over and over and over again because I was so enthralled with the series. I have heard complaints of the N64 games translating poorly onto this collection but I've played the originals and even going back to these I never found an issue with glitches or crashing or anything like that and on top of that I think the GameCube controller greatly enhances the gameplay of Ocarina and Majora. It was magical to have this growing up and this continues to be one of my most prized video games in my collection, let alone on the GameCube. Though, if I must take off my rose-tinted glasses I do have to admit that the original NES games have their worst versions on this platform. I love the GameCube controller but it absolutely does not work with these two games. Still, quite a bang for your buck since all of these games are starting to get expensive individually and come on they slap no matter what! (yes, even Zelda II that game is great y'all stop being mean and jumping on the bandwagon)

Anyone who thinks this game is better than the first Castlevania game really REALLY loves to get their balls crushed by a meat tenderizer for hours on end

Alright so I kinda like this game at the end of the day there are a few things that I like about it that make it its own game but I don't think it was intentional at all because oh my god this game tries wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too hard to be Symphony of the Night and it's rather embarrassing and on top of that this game looks and sounds ugly as hell. Again, I still walk away from it with a decently positive score but this is the lightest of 7s I can give

This may be 100% pure nostalgia for me but I love this game I think it's excellent. Sure, there may be a few issues that hold it back for some people but the areas that it excels at make it one of the classics for me personally

This isn't even a game I grew up with, I played it for the first time last year and I have one question: Why the fuck does this game go so hard?

A remake of my favorite game ever, yeah it's still decent. BUT, there are some reallyyyyyyyy weird-ass changes in this version that perplex the hell out of me and also ruin some parts of the game surprisingly. Why didn't this get the OoT treatment and just have the graphics updated and implement some quality-of-life features? Especially with the boss changes. Like, come on, why does every boss get fitted with a glowing eyeball as its weakness. I couldn't believe that when I first played it. Why were the swimming mechanics taken out behind the woodshed and put down, when they were some of the most fluid swimming controls around. Why did the Sheikah Stones get turned into hand-holding walkthroughs when the game gives players all of the information they need to give them a sense of self-gratification when they complete anything in this game on their own. This should've been a slam dunk but it just wasn't. Kind of a shame...

I won and I didn't even get my $5 you fuck

Final Fantasy I: The one that started it all and the remaster is a great way to play this first edition to the legacy this franchise went on to leave. It only helps it further that it's just a simple and fun time with an rpg. 8/10

Final Fantasy II: no... 4/10

I have loads of funs with friends on this, that's for sure. But now, if I may, I'd like to echo the sentiments of my peers on this website. Ahem: WHY THE FUCK IS THIS GAME'S INTERFACE DUMB AS FUCK AND YOU CAN'T ACCESS CERTAIN JOBS AND FUCKING OPPRESSORS EXIST AND MAKE THIS GAME UNPLAYABLE AND SO UNBALANCED CUZ THESE CUNTS FLY AROUND AND FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

This is just a mobile game a decade before mobile games were invented.

Man, I love the Slender games on PC but you know what would be better than those... A mobile version

Let's just all forget that the Kinect even happened.
