Incredible gameplay that kept me on the edge of my seat pretty much the entire time. Some levels got SO stressful (in a fun way).

Very dumb story with a predictable "twist" at the end that you can see from a million miles away.

Looking forward to eventually checking out the DLC and sequel!

Fantastic gameplay and level design, kinda cringe story but that is pretty much the only downside to this game.

I do wish the fark campaign consisted of different levels, and wasn't just a reason for you to replay the entire same game again

Totally forgot how much this game influenced my music taste when growing up. Certain songs have stuck with me for over a decade now

As so many others have said at this point, godlike highs, absolutely gutter-level, sewer-level lows. And unfortunately with the way that this game is paced, it's more low moments than high moments.

I have never experienced such insane whiplash going immediately from one of the most epic, intense boss fights of my life to some of the most boring, smooth-brained MMO-esque tasks of talking to numerous NPCs in a row, fetching items, searching areas, etc.

Oh, did I say "MMO-esque"? Yeah, you can DEFINITELY tell that the FF14 team was involved in this, in all of the worst aspects.

The highs are 10/10, the lows are like 2/10. Brings it somewhere in line with the rating here.

I really wish this game was half as long as it was, with so much of the fluff cut out. People dog on FF7 remake for it's fluff, but my god is it a far more interesting and engaging overall experience than this. I never thought i would be saying this, but this game should've been "Nomura-d"

Has the amount of subtlety and nuance with its themes as being clobbered over the head with a shovel

In some aspects, it still holds up well today. But my god is the PC port rough, and trying to play this with a controller on PC is a constant battle in-game

Love spongebob but was reminded of how boring of a game LIFE is

Completely garbage that it requires 35 time pieces, many more than what you complete the game with, and the only way to get more is to find those god forsaken time rifts

Absolutely mint parkour gameplay and decent combat, the story was unfortunately a bit lackluster but damn, I had so much fun with this game. Also, the aesthetics are incredible and give me some frutiger aero vibes (even though it's not quite that)

Decently cool aesthetic, good flight controls and an intriguing premise but the main protagonist is just so unbearable and devoid of emotion, and the story is just so uninteresting and really badly written.

I pushed through to the end, and it really just wasn't worth it. The only real positive I can say about this was that it was sort of relaxing just flying around and going from point A to point B

Don't see myself playing the DLC

Pretty decent DLC. Sam is a cool character too with a fun moveset.

God awful horrendous final armstrong boss fight though.

A lot of great potential here, especially when it comes to a sequel. I love the setting, the gameplay and the soundtrack (and am even fine with the difficulty) but really felt like there wasn't any incentive to really try to get higher scores and all of the objectives per level. I'm hoping in the sequel they might implement an upgrade system or something to add another layer into the gameplay.

Also, I personally felt like the last level was underwhelming and I had NO motivation to play the "out for blood" mode when it is literally the same levels but harder.

As mentioned, this team did a great job for their first major release and laid the groundwork for a potentially fantastic IP. Will be keeping an eye out to see what a potential sequel does.

The 2nd half and conclusion to the fantastically written character, Daud. A much more satisfying conclusion as opposed to Knife of Dunwall (especially if you get the low chaos ending).

Definitely enjoyed these levels a little more than Knife of Dunwall, and being able to carry over my progress to this DLC made me enjoy it even more since by the end, I was able to have some pretty insane skills.

All in all, a very nice way to wrap up the Dishonored experience, and from playing the base game and all of the DLCs for the first time now, I am definitely a fan of this franchise.

Looking forward to playing Dishonored 2!

God the intro cutscene of the first level where you're leaping and blinking as Daud along with his band of assassins goes so hard. Also, Daud is probably my favorite character in D1, a perfect blend of being sympathetic enough to have morals and feel bad for some of his actions, but can be as destructive as needed when the money is right.

Unfortunately my main downside with this DLC was the inconsistent level quality. Level 1 was awesome. 2 was alright. 3 was really rough and 4 was also alright. When you've only got 4 levels to show, you'd think you'd want to pull out all of the stops for this!

Regardless, love Daud and loved seeing more of the Outsider. Badass characters.

Wow, I can't believe I never played this back in the day. A masterwork in level design and stealth mechanics. With this game being as short as it was with as few of levels as it had, the world building felt immense and much bigger than it actually was.

It's amazing how well the morality system is implemented in this game, and how you barely notice your actions affecting the game at first, but by the end you can very bluntly see the outcome of your actions. While I didn't do a no-kill run on this playthrough, I can see how many are motivated to do so since the game rewards you for being as peaceful as possible.

Going back to the level design, the levels are so well built that they are straightforward enough for any player to know how to traverse through them and get to their objective, but complex enough to give the player like 10 different ways to get to their objective.

Very glad I finally got the chance to play through this. While the story is only pretty good the gameplay is masterful and is what evens out any weaknesses in the story.
