Vocês me marcaram pra sempre.

It's amazing, tank controls aside this game really surprised me. The visuals work so well on the limited playstation 1, the wobbly graphics, low resolution and deep darks and fogs realy immerse you like no other recent title. This game feels so avant garde, the way it uses the radio sound to contextualize the enemy presence/threat feels natural and seamless. The soundtrack really goes off the rails sounding like white noise or machinery sometimes it makes you question if it really is a generator working or a giant monster lurking in the dark. The gameplay starts off rough (at least for me), as im not used to tank controls but once u get the hang of it (around the school area) the game really opens up as you explore from place to place, the walk animation that at the beginning seemed off starts to feel like second nature. The level design and progression is really interesting, going for a maze like structure while u look for keys and puzzles while trying to avoid enemies, its simple but really enjoyable not what i was expecting from what i hear from the game. The story is fine, the voice acting is the usual for 1999 which is not so good, but mostly enjoyable for what it is. The narrative is good enough to keep you going and giving excuses to explore the new spaces you go to, and at the end gets really intriguing as it starts throwing questions at you and if what you are seeing is real or not, who is alessa, what is lisa here and why is she the only one here.

Overall it was really an amazing surprise, i was not expecting it to be so good, cause this game usually gets overshadowed by Silent Hill 2, but i gotta say i really had a lot of fun playing it (even though i initially got the bad ending)

Eu...

Great game that improves on the first one in a lot of ways, but I can’t help but feel like the magic from the first one is gone now. Also, where did that dark tone from the reveal trailer go?

Ever since Breath of the Wild came out in 2017, I've been aching for a game to make me feel like that game did. When I popped in Tears of the Kingdom and started exploring Hyrule, a few tears rolled down my eyes as I finally felt the same butterflies I did back then.

Tears of the Kingdom makes Breath of the Wild feel like a demo. It feels like Tears of the Kingdom replaces its predecessor because it does everything the latter did and builds upon it.

My only real ick with this game is that the shrines really aren't as good as Breath of the Wild's. There are still too many "blessing" shrines (and even less of them feel justified) and they actually reduced the number of combat shrines despite making them wayyyyy better by making them mini "Eventide Island" type challenges. Also, the chests in the shrines feel more like a reward for spending time searching every nook and cranny of the shrine rather than one for besting a harder version of the shrine's challenge.

The cinematography is surprisingly good, I found the story to be really intriguing, the caves are a treat, the depths are really cool (though maybe a bit too big)... The game met my wildest expectations and made me want to explore Hyrule all other again just to see how they had tweaked the world I loved so much in Breath of the Wild.

Even though I do think I still prefer Breath of the Wild because of sentimental value alone, Tears of the Kingdom is absolutely a worthy and justified sequel that feels like the expanded and perfected version of Breath of the Wild.

PMD clone with good art direction and music.
It copies literally everything from PMD, but instead of having satisfying progression ,preparation to expeditions and gripping story, it just doesn't.
Why would it be a rogue-like is beyond me. Near the end difficulty spike is vertical, so you have to grind expeditions for resources to get underwhelming permanent +2 ATK and other such upgrades. Enemies kill you in 1-2 hits, I could probably bypass it with defensive build but at this point I don't really care.
Also interrupting expeditions to care for Toriko is stupid game design.

not finishing. this game is cute and it does a good job of creating a world that feels like it has a lot of life! but at the same time, the performance on the switch was rough, I felt the map was a bit too confusing at times, and it just didn't interest me enough to keep playing.

Love the freedom you get in this game, a lot of the puzzles have great desings and I think the bosses are fun. I think the combination of the Zelda puzzles/feel/artstyle/music combined with the precise combat of Dark Souls and the amazing design of the book made the gameplay very well paced and progress never got boring.
The only thing I didn't finnish was the tower. The tower is something i respect, even though it's annoying that I can't 100% the game without googling the answer, I think all games should have something for it's die-hard fans.
Overall, very well executed game.
