pretty enjoyable, the aesthetic is kinda bland, the music is good, and the levels are a mixed bag. definitely peaks with bounce man but most of it is still good.

Actual garbage, only played because of Hit

Absolutely loved this game as a child. I'll never forget the night my father saw me playing Super Sonic Warriors 2 and told me how the daughter of a friend at work had a better Dragon Ball game with many more characteres. I didn't believe him until he brought back my DS with a bunch of new anime games including this one. Must have replayed it like 3 times even though it was all in Japanese. Amazing game and it is astonishing how they got it to run on the DS (albeit a bit poorly at times).

As a child I replayed the fk out of this game, idk why I found it so interesting. So it's one of the few (back then) that I know for sure I completed!

Ngl: this game really looked cool and played the demo like crazy. I was really hyped to see what was next after Birth By Sleep for then just getting more and more disappointed over the years (with KH 3 as the final blow).

I did beat the game during the hype and had fun overall. Yea, mandatorily changing between Sora and Riku can be annoying, I get that and I can see why people disliked the game's core mechanic. Flowmotion was really fun and they kept it for KH III for a good reason.

disturbing the bees 🐝 😳
tartarus isnt boring

An emotional and existential narrative paired with fantastic combat and INCREDIBLE music. Paramount

This was not my first RE game, but I've been trying to start from the very beginning. What I found difficult in this game was the map and its puzzles, but it's just because I am not used to it; I get lost easily and it's hard to keep track of what you're supposed to do in order (just in case you don't get softlocked). I am glad I got to play a classic, I enjoyed the story and the clunky voice acting just set the perfect ambiance for survival horror. It is not my favorite RE game BY FAR, but I had my ups and downs with it and I'm sure others who can handle its complexity think it's really good...

Do not even get me started on the ink ribbons. I didn't know it was an actual resource when I had already used 4 of them within the first hour (I am a chronic saver), but after I figured it out I just played in chunks of a few hours.

I can only say my head hurts and fck those dogs SERIOUSLY. I'm so done after getting the good ending with both Jill and Chris

I was the one who added it to the database.
The best mod I've ever played, amazing how it improves the already very solid combat of the best ARPG I've ever played (Kingdom Hearts II), although it can get even better.

I love the combat, it's Kingdom Hearts II with x2 speed with a lot of Devil May Cry inspiration, allowing a higher combo bar.

What I liked most about the original was how magic was used compared to others in the franchise, in this mod it's much improved, giving the ability to alternate magic between using it on the ground, in the air and as a finisher.

The Drive Forms are very fun although it lacks a greater amount, there are only 3 in the Alpha, which I understand for being an Alpha that allows you to play the game from start to finish that even plan to add much more extra content.

This mod is not saved from negative things, but being an Alpha can be solved in the future, for example it is very easy even if you play it in Critical Mode, if you play in level 1 you will not have an experience as good as KH2 OG, because here the amount of enemies increases a lot, it is a mod more planned to be played with level up.

The only bosses that are difficult are Larxene and Zexion, Zexion is really horrible in this mod, he has a lot of HP and you can't avoid being trapped by the book like in the original, even if you continue a combo he will escape.

Also the lack of Limit Summons, you only have 3 forms available in the Alpha and a Limit which is a healing with Vergil's spinning swords, I hope they increase it in the future.

And finally you are not a lion, you go very slow in that world and boss fights are cut because of it (they have 1HP), I hope they change or directly remove it from the game.

I had a lot of fun with this mod, I totally recommend it, especially if you want to explore KH2 again.

Man...
I finished Sally Face with my mouth open...
What happened with this final chapter? I still can't process it...
It escalated in an unbelievable way, as Sally Face went from a supernatural mystery to Larry cosplaying as Gandalf unleashing magic?????????????
God... I think this was one of the worst narrative downfalls a work could have to the point that I am offended.

Chapter 1-4

The story holds up well despite not being anything great, but having characters that you as a player sympathize with and a mystery plot that works is already interesting in itself and has potential for improvement as you progress through the story and plot unfolds or so we thought.
As you play you will notice that with each new episode the quality noticeably declines culminating in chapter 4 which my friends was difficult, but not the worst because the chapter that would close Sally Face was still to come.

Chapter 5

This one we pretend doesn't exist for the sake of Sally Face...
For the sake of our sanity, because what is here is not even worth mentioning...
