You know a story is good when you read the worst fucking translation of it and walk out of it incredibly moved and wowed, ANYWAY THAT WAS REI FOR ME(Saikoroshi specifically lets not talk about the other chapters as they sure do infact exist!). The recontextualization of rikas character as well as the exploration of how trauma can affect ones self of coupled with its exploration of sin and a beautifully balanced exploration of struggling and acceptance this story offers and in addition to this ALL OF THESE THINGS tying into each other in typical ryukishi fashion make this easily one of the best higurashi chapters EVER (for me, idc if you hate it lol).

The predecessor to nirvanai was my introduction to the medium of vns and one of the most memorable and touching expiriences ive ever had, so all that considered i was fucking hyped for this and as far as im concerned im more than satisfied. The story is fairly high concept but what separates it from other uchi works in a simillar vein is that it also strives to be character driven and have deeply personal themes primarily concerning "Self-Love" which contrasts and combines beautifully with Ai1s theme of selfless love even chiding extreme displays of selflessness in a way where it dosen't invalidate what ai1 was trying to say. The game is far from perfect Ai1s casualness with the creepiness of its male characters comes back stronger than ever here with lien and kizuna which is otherwise a genuinly beautiful dynamic that gets soured by this bullshit (PLEASE UCHI I BEG YOU CONSIDER THAT 18 AND 23 YEAR OLDS ARE LEAGUES APART IN MATURITY AND CRITICIZE IT SERIOUSLY), i dont quiet understand why both Ai1 and Ai2 fail to balance humour and seriousness in this regard but i wish it stops, besides this the primary issue i had with this game was with mizuki simply not getting enough focus as a character who is fairly central to the story and its themes, she's not entirely disregarded but also she isn't regarded enough either and her and dates relationship feels incredibly, PAINFULLY hollow especially in the latter half of the game which is a shame because date isnt by any means, "weak", as a character here his and ryukis dynamic is extremely touching but him and mizuki feel more distant than ever before, the set up is there but the execution is so incredibly lacking.

ANYWAY GOOD GAME WITH SOME ISSUES PLEASE ENJOY IT I LOVE THIS SERIES WITH ALL OF MY HEART AND SOUL GOD BLESS YOU UCHIKOSHI YOU DESERVE THAT FUCKING HORSE MWAH

i think the game as a whole is great but my favourite route ended up being heavens feel as the main focuses of that route ( sakura and kirei) are two characters that i think are exceptionally well written and i cannot emphasize how ridiculously amazing emiya is, not just in this route but in EVERY single route and is arguably the most consistently well written character in the fucking game. This game tackles its themes of heroism and justice amazingly and as someone extremely close minded about Fate this game made me genuinly believe the thing responsible for FGO is fucking beautiful god bless sakura matuo and emiya shirou

i can tell this game was REALLY reliant on the disney and in doing so ended up downplaying its actual characters and sora,donald and goofys growth BUT when there is story i think its legitamately good the part of this game thats about sora growing as a person in the search for his friends imparting something on the player is really sweet.
