Its hard to separate this game from what it became. On one hand its an rough, barebones, and clunky RPG. On the other its the birth of Final Fantasy, and it helped create what we know today as JRPGs. I will always love the first Final Fantasy, the story it tried so hard to tell, and the impact it made, but I'd much rather play its rereleases.

This "game" is the embodiment of corporate hell, its just a shitty choose your own adventure FMV game but with community decisions. But of course it has to have a battle pass, paid cosmetics, and premium currency. It has some of the worst voice acting and animation I've seen in a game, and its writing is horrid. This "game" is nothing more then a cheap cash grab.

I don't know why but I went into this game thinking it was a fast paced action game. Maybe its because Deadpool has swords and duel pistols it reminded me of DMC, That's not really what the game is. I understand why someone would like it but to me it felt clunky and I'm not the correct demographic for the humor. I probably could have pushed through but it didn't feel worth it.
